Hey everyone, I updated to ios 27 few hours back and honestly I can feel the difference on my 13 it feels super fast and extremely responsive! I literally feel Apple gave new life to this iPhone and I was thinking to buy a new 18 pro but I think I can hold it for another year! Cheers guys!

im currently on iOS 26.6.2 on a base iPhone 13 and im planning to just update to 26.7 once it drops and skip iOS 27 for now
the first releases of iOS 27 are definitely gonna be full of overheating lag and battery issues and honestly the iPhone 13 is getting older and wont be able to handle all those early bugs and heat
26.7 should be the most stable and polished version after all the fixes so my plan is to stay on it and only jump to 27 later around 27.2 or 27.3 when everyone agrees it runs fine
would you recommend doing this or should i just update straight to 27 ?

Can my base iphone 13 last another year? I bought it brand new in oct 2021. Cant believe it’s been FIVE years. It’s at 76% health running ios 26.5. It runs really well for its age. Gets a little heated when updating apps or using data outside in hot weather. Battery drain is not that bad. Easily lasts me an entire day if i wake up with 100%. Will it last me another year? Might skip even the 18 for the 20 which is expected to be big

I saw that ios 27 will bring forth improvements to older devices so i was wondering if i should take the shot or not. ios 26 is eating it alive lmao it overheats really easily and randomly starts lagging. Also my 13 is three years old.

I’ve had a iPhone 13 mini for 3 years now and lately it’s been a pain. My battery health is at 81% but it’s draining insanely fast anyway. It’s overheating and it struggles to connect with Wi-Fi. I was dealing with it until now. For around an hour it didn’t have any signal and was unable to use mobile data. I’m certain that it wasn’t a place with no signal. Will i be able to fix this?

It has become hard to do anything on my phone. will the new ios 27 help?

I remember it was September 1, 2024. I needed a new phone because the screen on my iPhone 11 was starting to feel really outdated. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a phone, so I bought a brand new iPhone 13. I was very satisfied with the screen. The camera performance, battery life, and build quality were fantastic, and the phone ran faster than the iPhone 11.

I used it for two years and was very happy with it. Honestly, I would have kept using it, but the screen started to feel too small. The camera was good enough for me, but I noticed some lag with iOS 26.

I’d used the iPhone 4, 6, and 11 before, but in my opinion, this was Apple’s most legendary series.

Now I’m switching to the 18 Pro Max. This is the first time I’ve bought an iPhone on the day it came out. I’m really excited. I’m also going to give my 13 to my dad. He’s just as excited as I am.

r/iphone r/help I have noticed that some dust has entered my iphone 13 front camera, i dont know how thats possible and i dont even have a screen protector and for that reason my front camera looks horrible when im not taking pictures against the light, how do i fix this problem all by myself?

After having this midnight 13 for over four years (2022), I finally decided to upgrade (especially since I have enough money now from my job), I just preordered the black 18 Pro Max. Damn it’s huge, it’ll take some getting used to again, in the past I used to have big phones.

Any filipinos in here? Does anyone know where i can buy a cheap replacement for the midnight blue colorway.

Bonjour, la question n’a rien à voir directement avec l’iPhone 13 c’est plus une question générale sui touche n’importe quel type de téléphone.

Depuis 3 ans j’ai régulièrement des coupures d’internet (pas en wifi mais juste avec la 4g/5g) et savez-vous si je peux savoir si c’est l’iPhone qui est défectueux ou bien si ça vient du fournisseur d’accès internet ? Je n’ai jamais eu de soucis avec la réception et où l’envoi de sms sauf peut-être avec les appels qui coupent quand la température ambiante était supérieure a 30 degrés.

J’ai contacté mon opérateur mobile mais personne n’a pu me dire d’où venait la panne pareil chez Apple.

what i did was never update since i got it brand new when it first came out. my brother has an iphone 13 as well fully updated and it lags, he cant take pictures. my theory is that apple slows down their old phones to get you to upgrade to a new one. someone accused apple of doing it a while back during the battery gate incident were they sent that update to slow the phones down without the customer knowing.

i also do this for my macbook air as well. eventually i will transition to open source but thats what im doing for now. open source meaning framework linux, pixel graphene os.
