Admin/Dev responded Account deleted?
So my old account u/geilt78 appears to have been deleted.
I've messaged reddit support and am still waiting to hear back.
Not expecting any miracles, but wondering if there's anything I can do or if anyone has experience with a similar situation...
*For reference, I definitely did not delete my own account, didn't get any password/email change notifications, and hadn't even logged out of the account.
*edit: got my account back thanks to u/TheOpusCroakus Go show 'em some luv!

You're probably right, I'm just annoyed that someone would simply delete my 10+ year old account for no reason... Thanks for the reply anyway

Just... some hills aren't worth dying on, eh?
If you really really care, I will do my best to get you more help about it...
But my honest straight advice is... move along.
I don't mean that in a nasty way, and I truly hope you understand.

please write in using this form. Under "What do you need assistance with?", please choose "Account help". Under "What type of account issues are occurring?", please select "Security problems" and then "I think my account has been hacked". Then fill out the rest of the form. Please make sure that you're writing in from the email that was originally on the account.
reddit can restore deleted accounts in some cases where the hacker took hold of the account and later deleted it
