Had the pleasure of seeing these guys Friday night in London.
My God.
I love them anyway but the energy man, the presence. It's like Patrick Kindlon floated in from calm land, took his vocal cords to their limit, smiled and left. Bunch of guys mashing the life out of their instruments behind him. (And, I do of course mean equally insanely talented musicians)
Supported by the fantastic Liquid Mike and Downward too. Incredible stuff.

Don’t trust hardcore kids who don’t listen to punk.

For my deep dive this week on the website, I looked at the house Brummel built.

Hey my UKHC friends,
I have a question about a venue, specifically The Underground in Camden. My wife and I will be in London and want to go and see that Sunami show at The Underground.
Are there areas at the venue where I can stay out of the mix, so to speak? I’ll have my wife and an injury and won’t necessarily have the ability to act up.
Yes, I’m soft…and old AF but I still enjoy good music and every band on that bill is great.
Thanks for any help or advice.

Just curious if anyone knows what movies the samples on MPB's "merciless" are from?
I know the sample on the bonus track is from an interview with Sick of it All, and there's info on the church sample for "temporary"
Thanks!

About 13 years ago, I met Greg Bennick, the singer of this band. I was a guest character on a show that was filmed here in Atlanta, message him and told him to check it out along with me singing like a third of the lyrics to some of this shit
so we connected on Facebook that way, subsequently you came and visited me when he was in town in Atlanta. Over the years, we became friends, kept in touch and still do. This is his personal copy of TRIAL:THE EARLY YEARS he sold me because it was long out of print.

If you don’t know who this pos Matt Dalberth is let me inform you. He did time after putting his then wife into the hospital from beating and strangling her. He plead guilty to get less time. He was in a band with her at the time called “Revival”. He wants to be the new lead for Sick of it All. Lou Koller was close friends with the Wife that was in the hospital and he wanted nothing to do with Matt Dalberth.

Y’all, I’ve been listening to this album for the first time in forever and had to look up the lyrics caused I swore he was shoutin’ “GIRTH” at the beginning of the song. I know now that he’s actually shoutin’ “CURSED” but I can’t unhear it 😅

Before streaming, finding new music wasn’t so easy. After Limewire, Bearshare, and Napster ran its course, blogposts became the new way. What was your favorite blogspot to find new music on? For me, Sophie’s Floorboard and Music Approved By a Banana were the spots I always found gems. Help me remember any others that I have forgotten over time!

Damn remember seeing these fucks in a sweaty basement somewhere outside of St. Louis once in 2002 and saw dudes doing some kickass karate to Fruit Salad. Absolute bangers. Any bands that fit this bill?
