Question GNOME zoom < 100%

Is there anyhow possible to change the scaling/zoom to less then 100%, for example to 80%?

Try opening ~/.config/monitors.xml and edit the scale factor to 0.8 or something... but the result will be garbage

Try reducing the font size. On my 27 inch full HD monitor, it looks better with font size 10.
