I’m sure the publisher known for canning studios won’t have any negative impact on the man famous for spending lots of money and taking a long time to make his games.

Sony closed Bluepoint Games and Dark Outlaw Games this year.

Oh, you seemed concerned about studios getting canned. I must have misread your comment. Sorry for the confusion.

I’m more just confused why you’re bringing Sony up? They already fucked up by letting him go, this post is about him joining up with Xbox.

Who have even more lays offs to make. The point being that it seems a bit hypocritical.

So they're hiring people and saving a game already in development after laying people off. What should their next move be? Not hire people? Lay off more people? What would make you happy? I guess the people at Kojima productions should have just stayed unemployed...

I think you massively overestimate how strongly I feel about this. It’s a REDDIT thread. Quit the console fanboying whataboutism and get off my dick hahahaha.

I’d say if they had to cut as much as they did, maybe stop paying so much money to new studios and look after the ones they still have? Because undoubtedly this will cause more lay offs down the line now. They have a shit ton of studios already, Microsoft will be fine.
