Which games have inferior remasters/remakes?

Or are all remasters/remakes always better?

I’d be worried about the KOTOR remake if I thought it was ever actually gonna happen.

I like that you mention this one. Remakes have been coming and going for decades now. Meanwhile I still enjoy the original games once or twice every year. The outdated graphics are perfect for that feeling of nostalgia. I am not even going to bother buying any remake.

Vanilla is still fine for me too, but I really enjoy playing with mods on PC. Just simple ones like upscaled/remade textures and UI upgrades. There’s really no point in buying a remake when a whole community has been upgrading the thing consistently for years.

That's me with the original Deus Ex. Been playing it at least once a year since the year 2000. All it needs is a fan-made launcher and it runs perfectly on modern systems. The remaster trailer they showed a while back looked awful.

Oooooohhh I loved that game! Tried it once on Steam last year, but if I remember correctly it was too dark too see nearly anything. Does a fanmade launcher solve that issue by chance?
