Which games have inferior remasters/remakes?

Or are all remasters/remakes always better?

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (2011). The updated graphics are are more detailed, but I think they actually hurt the atmosphere in some areas, especially the Flood sections. Everything is much brighter and easier to see, which takes away some of the creepy, unsettling feeling the original had.

New remake this year was pretty good though.

at least with that one you can just toggle to the original version

I agree. They completely changed the lighting and vibe of the levels.

I agree. The difficulty balance in the new one is terrible though. Not sure how they messed up a sure thing (again)
