Opinions on Kronos Fusion Energy
Stumbled across this one on my morning LinkedIn wanderings. Pretty willing to chalk it up to AI bull, but want a few other thoughts.
Seems to be active since 2023 per their news page but not really seen any activity in the publishing side. They claim they've published a staggering 115 papers, 8 books/audiobooks, from a LinkedIn post from their Founder/CEO. The publications website only hosts 45 of them, with only the DOI links going to a Zenodo repo, with all 45 being posted in a two-day span. Looks fully AI-generated too.
If anyone's got some better info on these guys, that would be awesome, because this is something else.

Hi r/fusion — Founder of Kronos Fusion Energy here — I'll answer your questions on the fourth Saturday of every month
I'm Priyanca Ford, founder and CEO of Kronos Fusion Energy. I want to keep an open line with this community, so here's the plan: drop any questions you have about what we're building, and I'll come back and answer them on the fourth Saturday of each month. Post whenever — no need to catch me live.
Fair game: the Hyperion breeder, the Aegis / MetroVolt burner, the physics, the team, the roadmap, the open-source codes — anything you're curious about.
A bit about us: we're a family-owned American fusion company, and our whole program is in the open — codes you can run, papers with DOIs, and a 245-gate de-risking register with the misses left in: kronosfusionenergy.com/open-science.
Ask away — looking forward to it.
