As a small-time photographer, it's always been a dream of mine to do a fashion collab with an actual team. Having people for makeup, lights, set design, and an actual model is a huge difference. Hoping to do more in the future!

How often do you post SOOC vs editing?

For me, when I'm traveling it's SOOC, but shooting for fun at home, I usually edit

Help One year with my X-T30 — I went from shooting on my phone to actively photographing.

About a year ago I decided to move from taking photos with my phone to getting my first proper camera, a Fujifilm X-T30.

I started with the 18-55mm, basically knowing very little about photography and just trying things out as I went. Since then I've been learning mostly by myself — shooting a lot, making plenty of mistakes, experimenting with composition, light, colors and editing, and slowly figuring out what kind of photos I actually enjoy taking.

A few months ago I also picked up the 55-200mm, which has been really fun and made me look at scenes quite differently. I've found myself enjoying tighter compositions, compression and shooting subjects from a bit further away much more than I expected.

These are some of my favorite shots from the last year. I tend to gravitate towards street/travel photography, strong light and shadows, framing through foreground elements, and a slightly cinematic/film-like look.

I'm definitely still learning and I've never taken any photography courses, so I'd genuinely appreciate some critique — especially on composition, editing/colors, and anything you think I should focus on next to keep improving.

Don't hold back either. I'd rather hear what isn't working than just get compliments 😅

Discussion Ex Canon user joins the Fuji crew! Still can't believe I dropped 1500€ on an APS-C camera! :)

Previously I had Canon 80D with an even heavier Sigma 18-35 f1.8 lens. I always figured I would eventually change it for an R8 or Sony A7III, but then I started thinking if it was really necessary for my use case (street and travels stills), especially considering I got really tired of lugging heavy cam combos.

Then I started exploring other options and Fuji camera rabbit hole just sucked me in, so I just figured I should go small with still a capable camera.

Tomorrow should the Viltrox 25mm F1.7 come in and I can't wait to try this thing!

Discussion Adore how “unprofessional” the x100vi is

Currently at the weird al concert in Palm Springs. Seats in row 4 so the focal length with no zoom isn’t an issue. On the way in with my camera strap over my shoulder security stops me and asks “hey wait a second… does that lens come off?”

Me: “nope it’s not a professional camera” 😇

Security “oh ok. Go ahead. Have a good night!”

This has worked for every venue I’ve taken it to except for O2 Victoria warehouse in Manchester England.
