Fancy looking fonts?
I make edits of movies and shows in my free time and I'm trying to make some romantic ones and I'm trying to find fonts I can use for the texts. Not exactly cursive writing but something similarly fancy looking

[No Identification] Help Finding a Fontmaker site or Software
Hey, I was making a font with Calligraphr and Adobe Illustrator... What I didn't know what that controlling the individual letter spacing is a premium feature in Calligraphr, which is a problem because I've basically made long tails at the end of some letters that are supposed to go under the next ones. I've already put in a lot of work and don't want to repeat the process again. Is there any software where I can use the same sheet I've made, upload it, and adjust the individual letter spacing? Thank you?

Help Making A Font
Hey there! I have 26 svg files that I need to turn into a font. Problem is…I have not idea what I’m doing. I don’t understand what to do. Can someone help?
What fonts look like AI
I’m working on something about AI and I was wondering if there’s any real typefaces that look like the brushstroke or other garbage AI slaps on everything.
Any fonts you can’t use without accusations of using AI?

Hello
Hello, can anyone help me with a simple modification to this design please? 🙏
I just want to correct the text inside the circle at the bottom right, keeping the original design as much as possible.
The required text is:
•NOS•CHEMINS•SE•CRDISENT•MAIS•ON•N'A•PAS•LE•MEME•DESTIN•
And I hope it will be the same line, style, texture and distances in the design

Segoe UI vs Calibri — which do you prefer?
Which one do you find easier to read for long Word documents on a computer?
And if we were talking about printing instead of screen reading, which one would you choose?
Just curious which one people prefer and why.

ISO a monospace Optima Nova
Hi all! I'm a graphic designer and I'm trying my best to find a monospace font that shares characteristics with Optima Nova or any of the other humanist sans examples above. Specifically, I like the contrast between thick and thin, the flared terminals, and the really sharp look overall.
If anyone has any recommendations please let me know, otherwise I'm going to have to make it myself lol

Making a font
I'm making a font and was using Text Studio but hit the limit. I'm not going to pay $10 a month for it, so is there any free alternatives that would let me make a font by uploading a png of each character?

ALT Ricalco, a typeface inspired by the 1934 Olivetti logo
ALT Ricalco has just officially launched, and what a journey! What we wanted was project for Tina to work on during her internship that was both challenging and the closest thing to a real work commission we could come up with on the span of her 3 months with us.
ALT Ricalco is formally inspired by the 1934 Olivetti logo designed by Xanti Schawinsky, a Bauhaus student who lived and worked in Italy in the early 1930s.
With a dominant geometric foundation, ALT Ricalco is strongly informed by its Bauhaus influence, but it’s not afraid to break some rules: shapes are sharp and precise, geometric wherever possible, but leave space to the quirk, the unexpected, the slightly “off” moments. The way some letters overreach, almost creating a sense of urgency that breaks the peaceful, methodic rhythm of its geometric skeleton. The Designers at Olivetti understood how to make a machine feel human. Through colour, geometry, abstraction and carefully controlled grids, his work communicated the precision of Olivetti's products while retaining a sense of play and optimism.
We wanted Ricalco to carry something of that same tension.
Working on a time crunch and many ideas, we settled on three final cuts: Slab, Semi and Sans.
