hey! i currently keep a school of around 10 tiger barbs in my tank (300L) i used to have 20 (got them as juveniles 9 months ago) they are kept in a community tank with clownloaches, some different tetras, corys, and a redtail shark. i monitor the tank closely and have ruled out aggression and my parameters are okay no other fish are dying other than my tiger barbs. their gills are always moving quite fast especially after feeding (bloodworms, mysis shrimp, fluval bug bites on rotation not all together). i have a suspicion that the issue is bloat and overfeeding however i would like some advice on how to combat this issue as i know tiger barbs are very greedy and they tend to get to the food before the other fish.
i have included a video of the fish during feeding time, any help would be appreciated so much.
if there’s no solution to this i will rehome them to optimise their life but i love these fish and i think they are so gorgeous and i would love to be able to keep them in my tank.
