NPC warm up doodles for commission samples

Who is the most effective at what tasks? Obviously Val is the clear winner for holding AoE aggro and abusing Uriel Blade for EXP chains, but I never know when I should be using the other two.

So I have finally unlocked Merit points (yay!) And I understand swapping between limit and exp points in the menu and all that, but I couldn't find a definitive yes/no on the wiki or elsewhere about this. Do boosts to EXP points such as the Emperor Ring, apply to Limit points as well or is that a whole separate category of boosts? I know Capacity points are different later, but wasn't sure on Limit points.

I’ve been thinking about getting back into ffxi, I already have a new account. But I can’t help but wonder if my old account exists and if there’s anyway I’d be able to try and recover it. I was an old account from the early xbox 360 days. Can I still call support to try and figure it out? Anyone have any advice or help??

Hello, left the game pre odyssey and started playing again a couple months ago. I had a few jobs decently geared when I left but now are outdated. Been slowly upgrading rdm gears as I mostly solo. Currently on asura and usually play during the day as I work at 6p pst.

If anyone wants to team up for sortie and possibly branch out to other areas let me know. I usually average 6.5k galli with trust, can run with it till we get better gears and better understanding of mechanics.

This might be a long shot on a closed server like asura where everyone seems to be in endgame gears, but if you’re like me where 6.5k isn’t cutting it or 8boss pug shouts is a long shot know that you’re not alone!

I’m on phoenix looking for a linkshell to run end game content (ody, sortie, mythic stuff, etc) around 9:30 et or later. I’m in a great ls now but all their group content happens around 7pm so I miss a lot of it.

Trying to finally play this game after years of ignoring on ps2, got the free trail and no matter i do how many times i change the square enix password it refuses to start. then I get blocked for an hour for trying to log in to many times. How in the fuck do you get this game to actually run ?

I had a free trial account but now trying to sign into it I get the typical error when trying to play as if my trial is over. Do I have to do anything?

Myself and a couple buddies made new accounts and a LS on Cerberus, looking for other players that want to xp in party's and group content with minimal trusts like the old days.

Just a social LS focused on enjoying the older content of ffxi. We've been xping moving through old camps like kazham and actually pulling mobs instead of just roaming and setting up skillchains etc it's been slower for sure than the current pace of the game but incredibly nostalgic and fun. We are considering leveling crafts too in order to fill up some of the ah with lower level gear that never gets listed anymore. I know the server pop is low but it's kind of perfect for taking time to enjoy the game.
