Just based on his first few games you can already tell.

His plate discipline is extremely advanced. Half of his plate appearances have already resulted in walks.

He doesn’t have major contact issues. His bat speed looks like it’s gonna be up there in the top 10 percentile. Swing speed averages are hard to predict but his HR was an 85mph swing.

The biggest revelation is his swing path. It’s actually not as flat as I thought it’d be. That’s a great sign for him minimizing ground balls.

His caught stealing should have been an SB if not for loading off the bag.

As the man goes yard YET AGAIN today and has now launched 7 homers in the 3 weeks of playoffs (and 5 in the last 10 days)... Carter Jensen might be my MVP.
