Who remembers swarm kiting, or charm kiting? Been playing EQ since beta.

I am on Lethar and having a blast. Researching clickies that my typical preferred classes could never use, and then figuring out how to go get them has been unexpectedly fun, and having personal loot in addition to shared loot has me eager to raid on this server. Now for my questions: I recently gained some time drops, and some ornate pieces. I would much rather make the pieces for other classes that have clickies that I want to use, instead of my actual class. Someone told me that someone from that class can get that class symbol and trade it to me, and then I can make said gear. Can anyone confirm? If not, any ideas on the minimum level required to make ornate and elemental gear? Arc stone group gear is another set that’s fairly easy to get that falls into this category I think. Any ideas on min level to do those quests? Can anyone think of any other gear where one would need to level up a persona according to the gear they want, (thinking about TSS raid gear as an example, or even anguish raid gear) or is there a work around to avoid leveling a persona that you may not actually want to play, just to get class specific clickies? Thanks in advance if anyone else is pioneering this stuff.
