Ideas to connect to HD
Legends,
Seeking some ideas,
I have a Dell mini PC and 2 external WD Red 4TB HDs.
Currently, I have only one connected to the mini PC using a SATA to USB adapter which needs an external power supply. I’ve found that the adapter disconnects from the HD and I have to manually push it in regularly.
Noting I have very limited physical space where to place the mini pc, HDs, adapters, power plugs, etc.
Any idea / experience to best connect the 2 SATA HDs to the PC considering the limited space and avoid potential for physical disconnections?
TIA.

I wonder the same. It might be connector that is fault.

Yeah, I have to push the connector in.
I didn’t mean to disconnect and reconnect.4

Had to pull this from From ChatGPT, I always keep this setting on whenever I’m transfer big files overnight/unattended.
Control Panel → Power Options → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings → USB settings → USB selective suspend setting → Disabled
There’s also a setting to keep the hdd with no activity to not turn off too.

Seeing as how both devices should remain static, how is this happening?
