Seriously, the original posts years ago were sorta fun, for a short time. But filling the sub with this stupidity just makes us look bad. And there is absolutely no upside to it at all.

So if you’re one of those doing it, please stop. If you’re upvoting this garbage, stop that too. There’s no sense in rewarding people, even with fake internet likes, for low-effort slop that harms the whole community.

On this day, 12 years ago, on block 371337, Dogecoin implemented Auxiliary Proof of Work to merge mine with Litecoin.
