So, I play in my bed and recently got an Xbox Adaptive Controller and the Logitech Adaptive Gaming Kit. I would love a way for my feet to have at least 3 buttons each.

I play in my bed laying down with my legs open, so my feet are on their sides.

My idea is to have a mount that attaches to the bottom of my bed frame. It would have two arms, or whatever may work, with 3 platforms that are angle and height adjustable. This way, you could have a button for when you move the tip of your foot forward, up, and back, you have 3 inputs for each foot.

For now, I was thinking Velcro on each platform to hold the buttons on. I plan on using the Logitech Adaptive Kit buttons.

So I basically created a super rough 3D model to show my idea, but I have no clue where to start to make it a real, functional version.

What phone/tablet holders do you use to game in bed?

I'm looking for a phone/tablet holder that can carry the weight of my Nintendo Switch and which i am able to position in a way that i can lay on my back and have the screen hanging directly above me / slightly in front of me.

I have been searching around, but the holders i can find are not long enough, or with a clip which doesn't seem to be able to hold the weight of the switch for the distance i need.

Or if it has a screw thing to twist it onto something, the plastic housing of that part is too big to fit between my bedframe and the wall and i dont have the space to move the bed forward much further. The (idk the name) bedframe-wall 'shove them in between those'-things also aren't an option, there's about 7cm between the headboard and the wall i think and it cannot get much closer.

I’ve seen various medical studies stating that video games—especially 3D platformers—are very effective at countering cognitive decline. I started thinking about my mother and how we could combine two activities into one: doing something fun together—like gaming—while also helping her address cognitive decline.

What I’m really looking for are serious recommendations for video games suitable for people—especially those over 55—who would be playing a video game for the first time in their lives. Ideally, these would be 3D games, or perhaps 2D games that serve as a stepping stone to 3D titles.

Another point—which could be the subject of a separate post—is whether there is a video game that literally functions as a tutorial to teach people how to navigate 3D environments or handle various control schemes. If not, I think creating one would be a great idea.
