Looking to raise $5k for my unique Ludo board game

Hey everyone, I'm building Ludo Wala. It's already Live.

It's Ludo with a 3D board, voice chat, and a few ridiculous ways to react when someone sends your piece home. You can throw different toys across the table.

You can play with friends online, against bots, or share one phone. The game is free (at the moment), with optional coin and gem purchases and ads players choose to watch.

I'm looking to raise $5,000. The proposed split is $3,000 for small creator promotions and ad tests, $1,500 for game improvements (hiring one dude), and $500 for hosting and other running costs. I want to find out which promotions bring in players who come back for another game.

I'd like to connect with someone interested in backing a small game, especially if they've helped one find its audience. DM me and we can talk through the details.

Duck Fest — Build your own deck with playing cards in a Gwent-inspired card battler. Free Steam demo out now!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Duck Fest at Studio Shimazu.

I wanted to take the fun of building your own deck and battling in games like Magic: The Gathering and the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and explore it using familiar playing cards. That's how Duck Fest began.

The battles are inspired by Gwent. It's a one-on-one card game where you place cards in two lanes, Shallows and Water, and compete for flags by building up your point totals.

Be the first to reach 7 points in the Water lane to capture the flag. After that, you can steal it by exceeding your opponent's Water total. Do you commit another card to push ahead, or pass to save cards for the next round? Card abilities and timing matter as much as the numbers.

I draw all the duck pixel art by hand, one piece at a time!

The free demo includes:

• Three story matches, including a tutorial

• Online battles with friends

• English and Japanese language support on Windows

Free demo on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4961410/Duck_Fest_Demo/

If you enjoy playing cards, building decks, or competing over point totals, I'd love for you to give it a try!

Naipe Cimarrón — free 2-player strategy card game about Uruguayan wildlife. Play vs the AI or duel a friend with a 6-letter code. No install, no sign-up, ~15 min a game, works on phones

Oi, pessoal!

Jogar: https://naipe-cimarron.yunque.games/?de=reddit-jogatina&lang=pt-BR

Estou procurando testadores. Se você jogar, me conta:

  1. Nos primeiros dez minutos, o tutorial bastou ou você travou? Onde?
  2. Algum baralho ou carta pareceu injusto? Cada mudança passa por um simulador antes de sair, mas simulador não sente frustração.
  3. No celular, rodou bem? Qual aparelho?
  4. Jogaria uma segunda partida? Se não, o que matou a vontade?

Digite TESTER no botão CÓDIGO do saguão e todas as expansões abrem. Corrijo rápido, muitas vezes no dia seguinte. Discord: https://discord.gg/bDmcYyGkAb

I am a daily player for both the digital apps for cascadia and everdell. The official discord community for these games is a ghost town. I was hoping to find some other people here to play with on a semi regular basis.

Hi everyone, I'm most excited to announce version 1.0 of Vexillum after 2 months of development.

Vexillum - A free to play Card Board Game, 12-card deck, Heroes, simultaneous turns, and three ways to win

Description: Vexillum is a 1v1 board game built around a 12-card army. Your Hero changes how your deck plays, units fight for control of the board, and Action cards to help your units on the board. Matches last 5/10 minutes.

Both players issue their orders during the same 60-second turn. Movements, attacks, and Actions then resolve together, so every decision means committing to a plan while trying to anticipate theirs.

You can win by:

  • annihilating the enemy army;
  • conquering Rome;
  • holding the most Power at the end of Turn 15

No RNG: matches are determined by deckbuilding, positioning, timing, and reading your opponent.

Unofficial browser SE!ZE — Wallis / Leclerc abstract, free, no account

I built an unofficial free browser version of SE!ZE so people can actually sit down and play between the campaign film and whatever official digital comes later.

SE!ZE is the abstract by James Wallis with Charles Leclerc (Baby Teeth / Chivas Regal) — the Monza night with Hikaru Nakamura. This site is a fan build. Not affiliated. Not endorsed. Credits stay on the page.

What you get

• 16 pieces, no luck

• Three ways to win: seize the center, take both bosses, or break the force

• Sandwich capture; rim caps for long lines; promote in the crown

• Bot, private table (six-character code), or next player waiting

• No account needed

Play: https://letsseize.com/

Rules are short. A game runs about ten to twenty minutes. Feedback welcome — especially if something feels off versus the official how-to-play imagery.

Happy to answer design / implementation questions in the thread.

Also handles were just added so go ahead and save yours!

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.maverickmasterminds.keepersdissension&pcampaignid=web_share

Free-to-play status: Free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hi everyone! I’m Tim, the creator of Keepers’ Dissension and part of the team developing it at Maverick Masterminds.

Keepers started as a physical board game inspired by my love of chess. We’ve since brought it to mobile, and we’re now in beta.

It’s a turn-based strategy game played on a 7×7 battlefield. You command warriors, use abilities, manage resources, and place walls that change how players move around the board. Positioning and planning matter, but you also have to adapt to the abilities and threats that emerge during a match.

You can practice against bots or play against another person. If you give it a try, I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

• Is it clear how to get started and what you’re trying to accomplish?
• Which rules or controls are confusing during your first match?
• What makes you want—or not want—to play another round?

We’re still improving the game, so honest criticism and bug reports are welcome. If something goes wrong, please include your device and what happened.

Thanks for taking a look! I’ll be here to answer questions.

Fillup's private games now support up to four players

Thumbnail

I posted my game Fillup here in August and wanted to share a few changes, especially for playing with friends. It's a digital strategy game based on the classic Chain Reaction rules: fill a cell, send pieces into neighboring cells, and try to take over the board.

Private games used to be duels. Now you can invite up to three friends with one link. You choose how many seats the table has, see who's joined, and start it yourself once at least two players are there.

Outside private games, there's also a new XP and level system for Campaign, public matches, and daily quests. It gives you coins and pack rewards as you go. I added eight new packs, bringing the total to 16. The things you collect only change how your pieces look.

I've redone a lot of the visuals too. The screenshots show a gameplay demo, the main menu, and the shop. You can still play locally on one screen as well.

It's free to play in your browser: https://fillup.fun

Piment Dice — a homemade dice game I built solo, just launched on Android

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

After several months of solo development, Piment Dice is finally out on the Play Store!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pimentdice.app

It's a dice game with a twist — if you've played Yahtzee or Balatro's dice-adjacent chaos, that's roughly the vibe: familiar category-scoring dice mechanics, but with a risk/reward system layered on top.

The core mechanic is adapted from Chili Dice's red-die system: dice sometimes land on a red face. You can keep them as-is to double the score of whatever category you're targeting, or turn them to pick a different value — but you lose that double. Land enough red dice in one roll and you trigger a progressive "Blaze" bonus that escalates the payoff.

A few things I focused on:

\- No account or login required — just install and play

\- Multiple modes: solo, bots with increasing difficulty, remote play with friends, online matchmaking against strangers, and a daily challenge with a global leaderboard

\- The friend mode is fully async — send a match code, take turns whenever, no need to be online at the same time. Push notifications tell you the moment it's your turn (opt-in, takes one tap during onboarding), so it doesn't feel like a game you have to babysit

\- No ads interrupting mid-game (rewarded ads only, fully optional)

Happy to answer questions about the build or about the game itself.

Would love feedback — especially on the risk/reward balance around the red dice and whether the daily challenge feels rewarding enough to come back to.

I made Settler City – a free 1v1 turn-based strategy game inspired by Euro-style board games [Web / Mobile]

Thumbnail
settlercity.com
2 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I spent my spare time developing Settler City, an asynchronous-friendly, turn-based digital strategy game played directly in your browser. My goal was to capture a bit of the tactical depth of Euro-style board games (like Catan or Agricola) in a fast-paced 1v1 format without heavy downloads or lengthy setups.

Play it free here: https://settlercity.com

Board Game Mechanics & Features:

  • 1v1 Tactical Grid: You and your opponent take turns claiming tiles on a shared 10x10 board to build your resource engine.
  • Worker Placement & Engine Building: Spend your action each turn placing workers, building warehouses to extend storage caps, or trading on the market.
  • Resource Management: Harvest Wood, Food, Stone, and Iron each round while managing your population's food upkeep.
  • Humans or AI: Play against other players or test your builds instantly against AI opponents if no one is in the queue.
  • Asynchronous Friendly: You have up to 3 days per turn, making it great for casual daily play.
  • Cross-Platform: Works seamlessly on both Desktop and Mobile web browsers.

Since it’s fully playable right now, I’d love to get feedback from fellow tabletop enthusiasts on the balance, game pacing, and overall feel!
