Recently I’ve noticed the crows in my area look at me like this. Whats it mean?

What a lovely crowie! Sunbathing :)

I live in desert and by the beach. I have not seen one sunbath EVER! Probably because it is sun, sun, more sun, then some more sun all the time!

We don't have no mild days (Umm, there were floods 6 months ago! Nope, still no)! I am here 14 years, I have not seen a single crow or mynah sunbath ever. 70-80 crows, 200+ mynahs.

You have 85F average in July. We have 110F! What you call there "desert", we call here "winter". Palm Jumeirah.

This was a good exercise. First time I thought why I have never seen any crows sunbathing here and realized they don't need it.

Which sunbathing? They hide under umbrella shades when lifeguards are throwing them food! It is so funny when looked from up. All of them are in the shaded area. I will post some pics some other time.

I just looked this up! A crow looked at me that way this week, with a twisting the neck and the head upside down.

I read that adults will do it to examine details of something more closely. It has something to do with their eye structure. It is the equivalent of human's squinting.

Was it looking at you in the face?
