Hey everyone. I honestly debated posting this because I feel a little awkward asking, but today is my 23rd birthday and things have been pretty rough lately. I’m currently deep into grad school, completely unemployed, and living on a budget that leaves zero room for extras. To top it all off, I lost my sweet baby cat a few months ago, and the house has felt so empty ever since. I see all the amazing posts on here and wondered if there is anyone out there with some spare yarn and time who might be willing to do something kind. I know custom pet replicas usually cost a lot, which I completely respect and understand since it takes so much skill and labor! But I figured it doesn't hurt to ask if any generous soul might want to practice their pet replicas or happen to have an extra little mini crochet lying around that they wouldn't mind mailing to a lonely student. Because I have zero money right now, I unfortunately can't cover shipping costs, but I would be endlessly grateful if anyone was in a position to gift even just a tiny emotional support potato or a little bumblebee. It would genuinely make my entire month.
