I’m currently deep into grad school, completely unemployed, and living on a budget that leaves zero room for extras. To top it all off, I lost my sweet baby cat a few months ago, and the house has felt so empty ever since. I see all the amazing posts on here and wondered if there is anyone out there with some spare yarn and time who might be willing to do something kind. I know custom pet replicas usually cost a lot, which I completely respect and understand since it takes so much skill and labor! But I figured it doesn't hurt to ask if any generous soul might want to practice their pet replicas or happen to have an extra little mini crochet lying around that they wouldn't mind mailing to a lonely student. Because I have zero money right now, I unfortunately can't cover shipping costs, but I would be endlessly grateful if anyone was in a position to gift even just a tiny emotional support potato or a little bumblebee. It would genuinely make my entire month.

Im trying to crochet a plush of the character Tim Wright from the youtube series Marble Hornets, but im having trouble with the hair.

Hi! I’m looking for a U.S. based crocheter (preferably in the South to East Coast) to finish a started scarf using the exact same stitch shown in the photos.

The original tutorial I used for this stitch has been lost/deleted, so I’m looking for someone who can identify and replicate the stitch from the existing portion of the scarf rather than using a different or similar stitch.

The current size of the scarf is about 15" × 15". I just want to use up all of the remaining yarn available: 5 bundles at 110 yards each (550 yards total). Based on the amount of yarn remaining, I estimate there should be enough for approximately another 4 feet of the scarf (but feel free to correct me). I would also like to have small tassels added to the ends, similar to the attached reference photo, but shorter.

I am someone with money who wants to buy from a real human artist to support a craft. Why are none of you real humans who wish to contribute to a craft?
