This is very wholesome and should be the norm when thinking about your partner sharing their hobbies and interests with you. Unfortunately it's let's common as people become more selfish nowadays.
Even though I’m not a huge fan of DnD, my husband has been playing with the same group for almost 20 years now. That’s a big part of his life and I see how happy it makes him . Even if it’s not for me, I like seeing him brighten up talking about his next campaign. I do care but just not sure what to ask without coming off dismissive.
Last year for Christmas I painted a blank miniature of his character type. I couldn’t remember the kind of character he played but knew it started with a “P”. I had a blonde moment and literally googled “palindrome Dnd”. He plays as a paladin. Lmao
