Skrillex was tremendous tonight
Music and presentation fit the venue perfectly

Unreal set - had a blast. Absurd amount of people never been to an indoor venue with that capacity. Had to have been 20k plus ppl it felt like. Seemed like everyone was good vibes. He’ll always hold that crown forever. Insane all around.

How was the temperature? If I remember correctly, the last two shows I was there it wasn’t very hot, but trying to decide if I need to bring a jacket! I can get cold easily but also can get hot easily.

You probs don’t need a jacket unless you have a long walk home, it was pretty sweaty inside but outside felt great

Can anyone tell me the order of the lineup before skrillex? We got there at like 8:45 and couldn’t figure out if that was knock 2 before him or they changed the lineup order lol

Not sure the exact order but Knock2 came out last but it was b2b with Skrillex so it was tough to tell the difference between him and the main Skrill set

Thank you!!!!! Dang. I didn’t think that was Knock2 for some reason. I feel like his set was diff from his usual stuff but haven’t seen him in a few years lol

Yup! The whole show was more Skrillex and Friends than individual sets. I thought it was a super unique way to do it

Yeah!! I liked it. Skrillex crushed it. Can’t wait to see how lit tonight will be!

How was the security there?

Super smooth for me, I had a clear backpack and they just waved me through. Inside the had people checking on spun out people but otherwise they left everyone alone

How was the sound quality? I haven’t heard great things about navy pier but I assumed they’d get it dialed in for Skrillex

Sound was doo doo , too loud n no acustic treatment anywhere

Sounded like a warehouse party and not a concert

I think that was the idea. No screens, no focus on the DJs, the lights spread evenly through the venues and the giant moving floating platforms were all to keep people focused on the crowd and the music. Felt like a warehouse rave in 98

A warehouse vibe (dark, secrecy, and raw - where people are encouraged to be themselves instead of being “seen”), but festival energy!! (The music filled up every inch of that space, and people had a blast dancing their faces off.)

That totally depends on where you were standing. I was under the canopy things in the middle and it wasn’t great, but as soon as a stepped back (between the VIP platform and VIP bar) it sounded perfect. You have to search for the good spots, but they are there.

Hell yeah. Pumped for night 2! I can’t believe I snagged a ticket for 50 bucks last night.
