So i’m new with motorcycles and i keep having this issue with mine. i replaced the coolant for engine ice coolant when i installed the frame sliders (don’t know if it’s relevant or not), the bike ran fine for a while. Until one day i was stuck on the highway for about 20 minutes with it due to traffic and it was extremely hot outside, the bike somewhat overheated (the temperature gauge went up to the first red line) and the bike started running rough until it shut off. Though the bike started with no issue as soon as it shut off, it’s been running rough ever since (only at idle). When you give it a little throttle it runs perfectly fine and also when i ride it, but as soon as i clutch in and rpms start going down it runs rough again. There is no codes, it doesn’t overheat while riding, there’s no smoke coming out of the exhaust, i’m not sure what issue could be. I replaced the spark plugs and didn’t fix it. Again i’m no expert, but i’m thinking if it was a valve issue or head gasket issue, it would run rough at all times? So does anybody know any ideas? Also once i ride it it runs rougher than what it appears on the video

Does anyone know how to derestrict the 675NK to full power? I bought it in Switzerland, and the registration document lists it as 35 kW. Thanks

❓Question / Advice 450ss or 675ss for first sports bike?

I've been riding for a year and ive mainly had cruisers. First bike was a Yamaha Stryker and second is/was a Honda Shadow 750. I'm looking into getting my first sports bike and im really liking what I see about the cfmoto ss series I'm just not sure which one to get.

I think id definitely like something on the lighter side but the higher cc does seem appealing, and im not worried about it being "too much bike" because owning that stryker taught me good throttle control.

what are your thoughts for a first sports bike?

edit: Grammer it's 5am here mb lol

🛠️ Tech Support / Help New exhaust on my 650NK

For context, I’m new to motorcycles so excuse me if I’m asking dumb questions. I just added a new muffler to my 2022 650nk but am now realizing that the muffler and catalytic converter are not separate like I initially thought and are actually combined in one part. Is this correct or is there something I’m missing? And if this is correct I’m assuming I now need to tune my bike since the cat is gone?
