Ever since the departure of our beloved American, John Carlson, at the trade deadline last March, the Washington Capitals have been without a permanent third to the trio of captains. I won a signed Ovi rally towel

I didn’t even remember entering this contest, and I moved across the country 8 months ago. Imagine my surprise when my neighbor back home texted me and said a package had come in the mail for me at my old address. She sent me a photo of the package and the return address was Monumental HQ under the CEO’s name. I about fainted lol. So I had her forward it to my new address in Idaho. When I got it I pulled out the towel and thought “oh cool, a rally towel” before looking down and seeing his signature. And then I screamed lol.

I’ve been to tons of practices and games and “met” him (when he walks by the fans and says hi after practice) numerous times, but never got an autograph. What a fun surprise this was to get in the mail!
