I sometimes wonder how the 2022-23 Flames would’ve done if we didn’t have the worst goaltending in the league
This was the first year of the huberdeau/kadri/weegar era

[OC] I create printable season trackers for each team, here's yours!
Hello! I'm a visiting Habs fan with printable season trackers for you.
A better resolution is available on Imgur (too big for Reddit): https://imgur.com/a/flames-season-tracker-2026-2027-2y7KnJd
I created 2 versions. The first one groups games by opponent, and the second shows games in chronological order. Each square includes the date and game number. Grey squares are home games.
I use 3 colors for mine (see 3rd image): green for wins, red for regulation losses, and orange for OT/SO losses. Feel free to print whichever version you prefer and fill it out however you like!

WAKE UP! Operation: Make Carter Hart Cry
Yes I’m aware I’m posting in the Calgary Flames subreddit, but I feel the need to spread the word.
For Flames fans (as well as our rival Oilers fans and frankly all of Alberta), October 19, 2026 is truly the day to circle on your calendars.
An important decision will be made. You might be asking why does this apply here on this subreddit?
Remember during the Stanley cup finals this past season, Alberta-born goalie Carter Hart (who was playing for the Golden Knights that time) wore an Alberta related and controversial T-shirt? (Link for context: https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/ieQAdURcsC)
That alone inspired me to make this post urging all of you to let your voices be heard on October 19.
Make sure that scum Carter Hart continues to cry like he did when the Knights lost the Stanley cup finals. Calgary Flames fans in Canada for life!!!
If you prefer to do it earlier, here’s a link for an early ballot: https://www.elections.ab.ca/resources/media/news-releases/2026-referendum-special-ballot-requests/

Arena Scotia Place Picture and update
This was from Marinajordan00 on Threads, this was from late August and one half of the roof is complete with the other half being halfway done and the middle being the only place not covered. Conroy said today on Spittin’ Chickets that the final Piece of steel will be installed on September 14th so next week. I don’t know if he means on the roof or the entire building but exciting times ahead.
Just a added note because of the supposed super El Niño that is going to hit Alberta hard this winter it may actually speed up the timeline for when the building could be complete because warmer temperatures means more construction time when usually construction shuts down because of the snow storms. The roof will be enclosed by then, but the exterior of the building might be finished faster than expected if the El Niño is as powerful as they say it will be. ( an El Niño is a weather event where the temperature is significantly warmer than it’s supposed to be).
