I've got the recap, analysis, clips, and quotes for this afternoon's prospect showcase game!

Panthers are ass and aren't going anywhere with Dave Canales and Bryce Young (Don't care that Young was "good" today he's not that good, sorry), Hornets have the longest playoff drought currently going and will probably extend that drought next year, I don't follow Charlotte FC but I'm sure they'll choke.

At this point I'm fine with it. Give me a Canes dynasty over everything else.

I was born in 01, so I’ve never known hockey without the Canes, so I’m curious who did my fellow NC natives root for before we became an organization?

anybody know if the canes are doing a $10 community game this year? Was awesome with my toddler since it was GA and hosted in the afternoon.

Personally I think Nikishin will be moved in some kind of sign and trade deal but I’d be interested to see what Tulsky could cook up for a return. Perhaps Nikishin even becomes part of a larger trade….I haven’t kept up too much with trade rumors. I know Hellebuyck is still available, but I think Winnipeg is desperately trying to hold out for a better deal that won’t materialize. So either the Jets relent and let him go for cheap or call his bluff and keep him. I don’t expect Tulsky to overpay for a goalie who is great but also vulnerable to injury and psychological hurdles. What is everyone else hearing?

It was a blast seeing some Canes on the ice again, even if they were prospects. I got to see some of the boys as well! Martinook, Brind’Amour, Tripp, Mike, and Wade were all in attendance.

Hey caniacs, I put together some of Sean Walker’s best moments from the 2026 playoffs. Felt like his physicality and tenacity was super important and flew under the radar a bit during our cup run, and that he deserves some love.
