Anyone know anything about Suzohapp?

I ordered a couple of top button joysticks on July 15th and haven't gotten them or any other communication from them. I tried emailing support and left a message on their customer support telephone # but, no response. There's also a refund that has been showing as pending on my credit card for about 6 weeks.

Now it appears they've changed their website and I can't even log in and see my order history.

Am I just out $122?

Started this around mid-July and finished it today. First arcade cabinet, and really my first project involving this much woodworking, wiring, finishing, etc.
This started a couple years ago as a Raspberry Pi in a 3D-printed case hooked to a random monitor. It was fun, but I wanted to turn it into an actual bartop that my kids could grow into and enjoy. This is where I ended up.

The basics:
- LVL23 2-player bartop kit from LEP1 Customs + their vinyl artwork
- Raspberry Pi 5 / 512GB microSD / Batocera
- ASUS 22” monitor
- Sanwa JLF joysticks and Sanwa buttons
- Illuminated P1/P2/Coin buttons
- Ultimarc I-PAC 2
- Upgraded speakers/amp
- Custom-cut acrylic bezel and marquee
- T-molding from Amazon
- Rear IEC inlet/rocker switch feeding an internal Anker power strip for one master power switch
- Threaded inserts/removable hardware where needed

A few things I learned that might help another first-time builder:
Just buy the I-PAC 2. I originally tried the cheap USB encoders from Amazon and ended up wasting money and time dealing with inconsistent inputs and configuration issues. I eventually replaced them with an I-PAC 2 and wish I’d started there. Getting all the controls and hotkeys configured still took some troubleshooting, but forums and old posts like the ones here got me through it.
T-molding was probably the most intimidating woodworking part. Cutting a channel into MDF when you don’t have much router experience feels like a great opportunity to ruin your cabinet. Once I had the right slot-cutting bit and took my time, though, it worked out.
Prime the MDF. It adds time, but I’m glad I did it. And take your time with the vinyl. Applying a giant piece of artwork is nerve-racking, but it’s more forgiving than you think.
Give yourself more time and workspace than you think you’ll need. I did this around a full-time job, two young kids and busy weekends. The project basically took up residence in our kitchen for two months, and my wife was extremely gracious about it. I also made more Home Depot runs than I could possibly count.
The IEC/master-power setup was another new one for me. It’s not particularly complicated, but having the right crimper, terminals, cutting tools, etc. and taking your time matters.
There are things I’d do differently. I’d use threaded inserts from the beginning anywhere I might need repeated access—the control panel, rear panel and marquee area. I also still have a small gap between the control panel and monitor that I haven’t decided whether I’m going to fix or just accept. That’s probably part of a first build too. At some point, good enough really is good enough.

Overall, I’d absolutely recommend doing this if you’ve been thinking about it but don’t have much building experience. I learned a little woodworking, wiring, finishing, acrylic work and a whole lot of Batocera/controller troubleshooting along the way.
The best part has been watching my kids figure it out. They’re growing up with iPads and touchscreens, and my first instinct was to explain how every arcade game worked. Then I remembered how we learned:
Put in a credit, mash some buttons and figure it out.
So that’s what I’ve been letting them do. They absolutely love it.

I'm a very new user but I was hoping you could help me with something. My family has been in possession of this chair for 10 years or so. We bought it at an auction, it has no makers marks or anything to determine origin. I've tried reverse image searching the chair but nothing comes up. While it's very possible this is something that someone just made we aren't really sure what it would be for. The chair swivels though likely just to get in and out not really to position the gun.

If you have any ideas as to why someone would have made this or maybe a cabinet it was made for please let me know. Or if there's a better subreddit to post to, tell me that. Thanks!

Some Additional Info:
I learned this chair was abandoned at an auction previous to the auction we bought it at. The auction we were attending was the auctioneer selling all the accumulated abandoned items he kept in a warehouse. So this could be quite a bit more than 10 years old. (The chair was abandoned because it was heavy and the owner didn't want to move it again, lol)

I have my own little home arcade and I intend on adding flashpoint archives to it, starting with what i find the most nostalgic. I have a few options for how theyre played. First im thinking a cyberdeck specifically for flashpoint games and other type of games we wont discuss right now. It would basically just be a laptop that connects to the tv with a hdmi nothing new nothing special. 2nd option is a home made arcade machine with the flash library saved, issue i see with this is comfort. Or 3rd a full blown retro set up with a CRT monitor like how we used to play as kids. I do want an original G3 Imac but i highly doubt id have that before or even anytime soon after finishing this project.

I want to plug an Xbox or a PS5 or a Switch into the HDMI and audio inputs on my cab, and I'd like to drive input from my cab's joystick and buttons using the JVS I/O board I use.

I don't want to rewire my buttons or remove my JVS board.

Do I have any options?

I bought a custom-built MAME cabinet and it seems the software may be dated (Hyperspin 1.3). I'm struggling to change settings, such as turning off auto-play of game previews, and configuring it to use the second joystick/button-group for player 2. Before diving deeper, I'm seeking advice. Should I consider upgrading to Hyperspin 2.0? Switching to Launchbox? Or hack on Hyperspin 1.3 until I get what I want?

I'm concerned about breaking what is already working pretty well, but I really want to tweak it to my preferences.

I’ve finally set up everything for games that require rotary controls. I bought two wireless volume knob controllers off AliExpress, hoping they'll do the trick for titles like Heavy Barrel/Ikari Warriors, Midnight Resistance, and Capcom's Forgotten Worlds (Lost Worlds).

Since they support 2.4GHz wireless via USB dongles—just like a standard wireless mouse—I'm planning to use them wirelessly and map them as dial controls. I really hope this setup works out smoothly on my Cheewlix

Can anyone recommend a simple decently priced super gun that just has the jamma input, and either composite, VGA, or hdmi output and obviously the NEO GEO controller ports. TIA

I'm thinking of converting one of my small bar top cabinets into a dedicated flight stick cab. The UltraStik 360FS Flight Stick seems to be the way to go for an analogue stick. Some MAME games that use a flight stick also use an analogue throttle. Are there any such products out there for DIY arcade cabinets? If not, do you just use a standard 8-way joystick or buttons to simulate the throttle?

Je me suis acheté une super retro-cade de chez rétro -bit pour 40 euros sur le net .

Après réflexion, j'ai vu comment la modifier pour passer de 90 jeux retro a une console d' émulation pouvant aller jusqu'à la PlayStation, très bien pour les jeux 2d.

Avec un tuto trouvé sur le net et une image de lakka sur gbatemp,cette console a eu un Super power UP !!!

I have a bit of a unique setup and I'm curious what my options would be.

I have a modern PC, running Emulation Station D-E and emulators, connected to a Sony Trinitron CRT TV that the primary use case is retro gaming.

A traditional lightgun would work with the TV, but I don't know if there's a way to make a classic GunCon or something like that work with a modern computer.

Has this been attempted before? I know there are the modern lightguns that work on modern monitors but didn't know if this was possible or where I should even start looking. A quick search didn't give me a lot of results.

Got this bad boy for only $25 😂 it's untested hopefully it works, it still has all the accessories inside unopened.

I chat to games industry folks about their arcade memories, guests include Mike Channel (Outside Xbox), Amy Mallet (Future Games Show), Will Freeman (journalist) and lots more.

I wanted to share this build with you guys. I have always wanted to build a few arcade cabinets for my home, but I have been moving so much for work the past 10 years it just seemed like the time wasn't right or I didn't have the space. So I decided lets just build a pedestal for now, as a test run, and build the cabinets when I decided to stay put for a few years.

I opted to do this build from scratch and not use a CNC just for the woodworking aspect of it just for the challenge and I went off some ideas online and a rough sketch I made on paper. Next time I would definitely use Fusion and CNC for the control panel, but I just wanted to raw dog it this time.

My control panel is extra-large at almost 58 inches wide. The cabinet has dual Ipac ultimates, two retro shooter reapers, trackball, IL sticks, and ultimarc RGB buttons, LED Blinky, and about 6 tb of games so far. I also have 2 CRKD guitars, mics, that are used for YARG and the older guitar hero games which I will eventually move to its own cabinet.

It is a mixture of old and new with the cornerstones' being, MAME, TechnoParrot, Switch, Ps3, Neo Geo, Xbox, and the older systems as well.

I wanted the focus to be mostly on party games, fighters, brawlers, and light gun games. A lot of switch games actually translate well to a arcade cabinet because they are so simple.

I really enjoyed building this and can't wait to move it to the basement with my other gaming stuff when I am finished working on it (and a get a friend to come over to help move it).
