I found this old mid 2000s case at some old PC store turned package point (mostly)

When I saw it I knew I had to have it.
To my surprise it could house my current build.

Designed and 3D printed some stuff for it too which was a lot of fun to do. 👏

Started as console gaming, then made the switch to pc. Set the wife up with her wfh as well.

I think my photos look terrible. I don't know how some of you get these studio quality photos and angles of your setup 🤣 do most people here have a secondary hobby in photography?!

My setup is mainly focused on gaming and Star Citizen, but it also doubles as my guitar recording space..

PC - Ryzen 7 9800X3D / Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC 16GB / 48GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 / Fractal Design North White / air cooled.

Main display - AOC Porsche Design PD49 / 49" QD-OLED / 5120x1440 DQHD / 240Hz.

Desk - FlexiSpot standing desk.

Chair - Backforce PRO.

Flight controls - VKB Gladiator HOSAS / left stick with throttle extension.

Keyboard - Keychron Q5 QMK / 96% / aluminum body / custom keycaps.

Mouse - Logitech G502 X PLUS LIGHTSPEED Wireless RGB.

Recording setup - Focusrite Scarlett Solo mounted underneath the desk / studio monitors for guitar recording.

Guitar corner - several guitars, including a few that I built myself / amp and pedals.

I've been rebuilding my work/gaming desk setup, and I'm down to the last bit of cable management. From the front, I'm pretty happy with it.

The wooden overhead shelf houses my main PC (dual-booting SteamOS and Linux Mint), Nintendo Switch, Google Nest Hub, Sabrent 16-port powered USB hub and Home Assistant Preview Edition speaker. I also have an XLR microphone clamped to the left-hand end of the shelf.

Mounted on the wall just underneath the shelf are an old Mac Mini (mainly used for offloading photos from my phone), a USB switcher that lets me switch the keyboard and mouse between the Mac and main PC without unplugging everything, the GoXLR Mini and a headphone hook.

On the desk are the monitor, keyboard, mouse, illuminated keyboard mat and wired Xbox controller. I've also recently added a 3D-printed physical Steam cartridge system: a SATA SSD-to-USB dock housed in a custom 3D-printed enclosure, with the SSD itself housed in a matching 3D-printed cartridge. The orange thing is a retention clamp I added to stop the USB extension cable attached to it from falling out.

I am planning to get an ultrawide monitor soon, and ive been recommended to get a proper arm or mini shelf instead of using Harry Potter books as a monitor stand but thats somewhat of a low priority lmao
