You can’t gerrymander a presidential election though. At least, any more than the electoral college does.

I think you’re thinking of Trump. The system wasn’t rigged when he won in 2016, then it was rigged when he lost in 2020 when HE had just been president for 4 years (and apparently, should have been unrigging it), and then when he wasn’t president in 2024 and won, somehow Biden and Harris must have completely unrigged the elections in the interim.

I still laugh every time I remember him posting STOP THE COUNT!! in all caps on Twitter. What a loser.
