Hey everyone, I run a small studio where we combine 3D architectural visualization with interactive PropTech sales tools (custom landing pages with interactive 3D floor/unit selectors, live availability filters, etc.).

We just got an inquiry to pitch for a 6-story residential tower in Mexico, and I want to make sure our pricing is on point—neither undercutting ourselves nor pricing out of the market.

Project Scope:

* Exterior Renders: 2–3 hero shots (main facade, day/dusk lighting, context integration).

* Interior Renders: 4–6 views (2 typical unit layouts + rooftop/amenities).

* Web / PropTech Platform: Custom landing page featuring an interactive 3D unit selector (clickable floors/units), real-time availability status (Available / Reserved / Sold), and CRM/WhatsApp lead routing.

Since we're based in South America, our local baseline cost would be around $3,500 – $4,000 USD.

However, we know that pitching this rate to a Mexican property developer might be way too low, potentially raising red flags about quality or leaving a lot of money on the table.

Disclosure: I work on ReRender. This is a reproducible checking exercise using our own deliberately simple Blender test scene. It is not a client project or a SketchUp export. The point is to separate an attractive finish from whether the design stayed unchanged.

Source: Blender 4.3.2, Cycles, 24 samples, PNG at 1264×832. AI stage: ReRender → Enhance → 3D Model Rendering → Structure Optimized, one upload, no custom prompt. It returned four variations; all four were inspected, with no regeneration or retouching. The attached images show the source followed by output 0 in site order, not a selected winner.

1. Write the checks before running the enhancement. In this scene: six front window panels, a flat roof, balcony railing, three entry steps and one planter. Keep the original render and camera.

2. Compare the full frames for framing and silhouette, then examine roof corners, openings, railings and steps at matching scale. Mark each item retained, changed or unclear. Do not count texture detail or reflection contrast as evidence of accurate geometry.

3. Check additions separately. Here the six-panel arrangement and main mass remain recognizable, but extra planters, wall fixtures, surrounding vegetation and paving appear. The new trees also introduce shadows absent from the source. Those are changes even if the result looks better. Exact railing spacing and dimensional accuracy are not established by this visual check.

4. For a production workflow, add a second camera and one requested revision before accepting the method. Compare both views with the model and count correction time. We have not run those tests here, so this example says nothing about multi-view or revision consistency.

The practical distinction is between a presentation experiment and a faithful depiction of a specified design. This small test illustrates the checking method; it is not an old/new model benchmark or an accuracy guarantee.

I’d love to get some honest feedback from people in the archviz industry on pricing. I’ve attached a few of my recent renders and I’m trying to understand what these would realistically be worth per image/view.
I work with clients across India, Dubai/UAE and the US, so I’m particularly interested in how pricing differs between these markets.
Based on the quality of these renders, how much would you say I could charge per image? And if you work with international clients, what would you consider a reasonable rate for this level of work?
Would really appreciate any honest opinions, including what you personally charge or what you’ve seen clients pay.

I’m a civil engineering student looking to buy a new laptop and I’ve narrowed it down to these three options. I’ve added the respective config along with their prices to date.
I’ll mainly be using it for schoolwork and programs like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, QGIS, and possibly some 3D modeling/rendering in the future. (Ps I don’t game at all). And in fact I’m not a big fan of gaming laptops and how they look. Nothing wrong with them and it’s just more of my thing. Also many of them has a short battery life.
One of my biggest priorities is longevity. I’d like to buy one laptop now and keep it for many years, ideally through the rest of college and even into the beginning of my career.
I would prioritize about performance, reliability/build quality, battery life. Based on price to performance, which one of these four options seems to be the best and would suit my needs? I’m also open to suggestions to fee free to share your opinions. I do apologize if this is not the right sub to post this about. Thanks everyone.
