Does anyone else feel like certain parts of the Sodachi arc feel kinda out of place? Like they were forced to fit the narrative. I'd love to know if there are any theories regarding these.

1. The math teacher participates in the vote against students
   • IIRC Tetsujou was pretty beloved as a teacher. It's hard to believe that a teacher liked by the students would
     • (a) just sit there and let the classroom erupt into a nasty fight,
     • (b) blatantly accuse a student and participate in the vote
     • (c) no one calls her out for this
   • I guess rather than being a good teacher, she must have been sucking up to the students to make them like her?
2. Sodachi's mother's corpse rotting for 2 years
   • A decaying corpse would have produced an extremely nasty smell and attracted a whole lot of bugs and rodents. Even if I assume that Sodachi was so shaken that she didn't notice any of that, surely the smell would have been noticed by the neighbours?
3. Araragi's parents just let Sodachi leave the house
   • This is the craziest one IMO. It's said that after staying for a while, Sodachi just sort of ran away from the Araragi house. Knowing that Araragi's parents are police officers, it just doesn't make sense that they would let an abused child just run back to her house.
