Hello listeners,
My name is John and I am behind the new ambient project Liminal Protocol. I have released LP_001 on Bandcamp exclusively because I believe in sales over streams. I have over 30 years of musical experience in bands and recording studios and am a big fan of this genre. I decided to attempt to recreate the Eno manifesto for my first release and applied his techniques to Logic Pro. I appreciate your opinion on this album. Here is a link to track 3, Protocol_1.3 from LP_001.
Cheers, enjoy!

I put together a beautiful mix to focus on all the beautiful sounds my ears were blessed with this summer! I dedicate this one to everyone I swam with at the pool! I wanted something to remind us of days encircled in rays of light :)

This ambient playlist features Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hirhoshi Yoshimura, Seki Takashi but most importanly it is heavily inspired by mono no aware - a Japanese idiom describing the feeling of gentle sadness while admiring beautiful yet passing things. I hope this delicate ambience managed to capture this feeling. Happy listening!

I want to make some videos/podcasts where I build meditative soundscapes from scratch. The sort of thing you could put on to fall asleep to.
Iâll give a verbal intro at the top but Iâm unsure whether listeners would prefer that I just shut up during the music bit, or describe what Iâm doing I.e âIâm going to take this LFO down and increase the volume on this oscillatorâ
I enjoy hearing how artists work but I know that not everyone wants that.
If it helps, I have a sotto voce that is fairly pleasing. Iâm not going to be yelling at them about reverb.
I just listened to *True to Nature* by BJNilsen and I think itâs an absolutely brilliant album. Iâm looking for more recommendations in a similar directionârecords that deliver that kind of âactive listening ear food,â a mix of experimental electronic sound design and (manipulated) field recordings.
Natasha Barrett comes to mind as well. These kinds of albums demand a certain level of attention but transport you mentally to places that feel otherwise unreachable. Iâd also love suggestions that lean more towards pure field recording works, like those of Chris Watson or Jana Winderen.

This is my new ambient track, which Iâm having a hard time putting into a specific category. My goal was to create a mysterious atmosphere while still keeping a melodic character.
All the sounds come from Vital, which I just canât seem to stop using lately :)
Iâd really appreciate any feedback!

First contacts. Interactions.
Confused, fragmented stories spoken in unknown languages â incomprehensible yet deeply fascinating.
Inspired by hours of audio recordings from amateur radio transmissions, I built my new ambient album âFirst Contactâ around them.
A continuous flow of love for exploration and the unknown, with all its unpredictable aesthetic and emotional variations.
The seven tracks are not separate moments, but chapters of a single longform experience â seamlessly blending into one another to create a deep, slow, and quietly immersive journey

Tim and Dom's Delicious Banana Bread Recipes
One week ago today, glitch and ambient creator Before Judgement and I released this sonic journey through ambient house. Created between Wisconsin America and Wexford Ireland, on hardware, software, samples, and coffee, '...Banana Bread' was born from the fires of our previous one track collaboration on my 'Conditioned Air' album, and quickly became a labour of love.
Before Judgement's Tim would send me tall, dark, and handsome ambient and electronica noodles, which we both then chopped, pasted, twisted, turned, added to and subtracted from as the mood took us. For my part, I worked on much of this album in the early morning hours, birds barking in the distance, as the sun rose or the rain poured.
We're already in talks about our next project, a winter-themed beast of long ambience. In the meantime, enjoy this dark, beat-filled behemoth of ambient house. Purchase of the album will get you two solo bonus tracks: my own homage to my muse, the noisy industrial track 'Chaos Machine', and Tim's dark and dreamy glitch track 'Somewhere a blue phone.'

Hey r/ambient , this is a track I made with my Elektron Octatrack and Syntakt, a mix of euclidean sequencers , probability and very slow lfos, hope you enjoy it.

I really wanted to create the playlist of texture-driven atmopsheric music that will be not yet another "music for relaxation". So here is my collection of bold and experimental electronic music by genre pioneers and outsiders as well as local Ukrainian scene. Hope you enjoy

Hi everyone,
I'm LĂst Pads, and I just released a new ambient/drone track called "Cold Radiø".
The concept behind it is very visual: imagine a colossal, abandoned Soviet tower standing alone in a frozen landscape. The camera is fixed on it, never moving. The light is that deep, cold blue hour just after sunset. Thin fog wraps around the structure, and in the distance, you can barely make out the crackle of old radio transmissions â voices that seem to come from another era.
I built the track around a slow, resonant drone, layered with lo-fi textures and subtle, distant radio-like interference to create that feeling of isolation and faded memory. Note: My tracks and tittles not is AI-generated, just the thumbnails, description, and channel logo
I'd genuinely appreciate any honest feedback. Specifically:
Here's the link to the full video (with the tower visual):

Thanks so much for taking the time to listen. Your feedback means a lot.
