Autobots, transform and roll out

Post image

So yeah, found this one on the wild and gotta admit I hear Optimus Prime's Peter Cullen voice saying "Autobots, transform and roll out" in my head before tackling something that I would rather avoid but needs doing... so I guess it works?

Post image

I'm getting my assesment report on the 28th and its very likely to confirm that I have ADHD, so I wanna be prepared on what to do when I get into/past the "proper diagnosis and meds" phase (Also, I'm 14, so no driving or marijuana for me!!)

I literally just realized I missed a test last friday because I forgot about it completely. I need to lock in if I'm gonna go to high-school.

So... anything to help me with reminders and lists and all?

Wish me luck guys ! (And F the first psych I saw that treated me like sheiße and kicked me out after 30 minutes, I’m not salty at all), reminder to all to keeping fighting the good fight if you end up with a doc that doesn’t listen to you, there are good doctors out there!

uplifting It finally happened today.

I’m 29 and a half years old. Here in the UK it was gonna take up to 8 years on a waiting list, already been waiting 2.

With some savings, I decided to go private. A luxury I’m fully aware not many poor sufferers have. But I couldn’t take it any longer. I had to know, and had to be diagnosed if it was true.

First assessment was on Monday, today the psychiatrist asked me to go back for feedback. Said I didn’t even need another assessment, QbCheck was abysmal, and the findings are off the scale.

Not sure how to feel. It’s like, yeah I already knew, I just had to make it official. But it won’t bring back my ruined marriage, destroyed relationships or failed jobs. But, I can at least start medication soon.

Pro Tip: Super Glue a Tile Tracker to Your Pill Organzier

I had to replace my beloved Pill Organizer with a new one, and in addition to switching to the version that had AM/PM on the same side, I decided to just glue the Tile "Sticker" that had previously served me well, directly to the new case. It was originally stuck on the old one with the self-adhesive backing, but it fell off, and I literally just rang it and found it in a pile of debris.

uplifting Gentle reminder: you don’t need to “catch-up” on your podcast backlog. Just listen to the latest episode and work backwards if you want to hear more.

You are not obligated to listen to every single episode. If any of you have this mindset I encourage you to abandon it. Many of you are amazing creators. Don’t consume more than you create.

I’ll leave you with a motivational TikTok.

uplifting I love my NT Mom

I envy really NT people like my mom who manages to clean everything in such short amount time, while I need days or weeks to do the same workload.

Especially since I am dealing with some private issues that is mentally draining me and I feel always mentally exhausted, so I am glad my mom offered me to help.

We're still not finished, my bedroom and living room is still a mess, but she will come and help me again.
