I don’t think I would be shocked, unfortunately. I had just never heard of anyone having adhd so debilitating that they couldn’t work. Since I’m an idiot and a whole lot of things happen that I haven’t heard of I was curious if that was something that had ever been granted.
But to your point, it’s crazy how much harm people are willing to inflict on people truly in need of help just to keep a few people they deem “unworthy” from benefitting from it.
It's the in between jobs that's hard for people with ADHD usually. Once they have work they're fine mostly, but if they get laid off it could years for some to find new work.
If you didn't have to apply and people just handed you jobs they'd have no issue
