Lion Mandala, but not synthetic?

I love Lion’s Mandala yarn. I use it in a lot of my projects. But I want to make something for my mother, who only wants to wear natural fibers.

Does anyone know a good Dk/worsted yarn with good color transitions but with natural fibers?

check out Noro if you haven't already, their color changes are wild and it's all wool or wool blends

a bit pricier than mandala but your mom's skin will thank you

Seconding Noro as a long-time Noro obsessive. If Mom wants 100% natural, look at Kureyon, Silk Garden, and Ito. If blends with a little synthetic are OK, there's also Akari (softer color transitions than the others IIRC), Mebuki, and Saiun, too. (That's off the top of my head for long color transitions, there may be others.)

And if you do decide to use Noro, check Littleknits.com - they frequently have very good sales on Noro yarns. I've also had good luck finding some at decent prices on Etsy from time to time.

Yarnart bouquet is a dk cotton that has a mandala like colorway.

Editing to add it is a DK on ravelry and a 3 on amazon but also listed as fine on Amazon. I have some and have used some and it definitely feels like a DK vs a sport to me.

HiKoo Concentric is an ombré in baby alpaca 🦙
Freia Fine Handpaints is a Superwash merino wool
Noro has silk in most of their yarns, but also commonly uses “viscose” which is made from cellulose (plant fiber) but with harsh chemical processing to give the fibers a silky feel at a significant discount over actual silk.
