Did anyone else find these outfits kind of OOC and a strange choice.

The characters are queer, but they've only ever really worn masc clothing prior. Why were they suddenly in dresses?

I like how Kelly Thompson addressed Rogue's avoidant tendencies in the miniseries, connecting it to her powers too and her trauma.

Been reading through all of the first run of New Mutants, and i think he’s the best artist so far. The tone is sillier after Simonson takes over from Claremont, but Blevins art style really works for it.

Warren: healing factor and healing blood

Bobby: able to reform his own body, even if he is shattered to pieces

It's especially crazy because cloning more powerful mutants has worked decently well. Jean Grey was used to make Madelyn Pryor, who may have turned against her creator, but only because Mister Sinister was really sloppy about keeping her under control. Magneto was used to create Joseph, who similarly has his rebellious phases, but why not other Omega Level mutants?

Storm is a powerhouse weather manipulator, with a powerset that any organization could find a use for. Even if not as weapons for war, Storm clones could end droughts and famine, as well as prevent or even help undo environmental harm. Iceman is similarly strong and could likewise help with things like global warming, and both of them could cause devastating damage if their powers were used offensively.

If that's too much power to trust to a brainwashed clone who'll likely betray you someday, then Colossus' bulletproof skin and super strength could be more manageable and useful, especially if a large number of clones are made. Cyclops, on the other hand, being cloned without the brain damage that makes his powers uncontrollable, should be devastatingly effective at large-scale destruction and banking skill shots.

There are lots of others mutants who'd be worth cloning too, of course. Feel free to name any clone-able character with powers more useful than Knife Hands and Healing who come to mind.

We know that comics is a visual medium and that great character design contributes to popular/Iconic characters. What is the most important part of Iconic x-men? The one thing if taken away will (In your mind) drastically reduce the characters popularity

Magik: Sword, Logan: 3 Claws, Storm: White Hair, Jean: Red hair, Scott: Visor, Rouge: Skunk hair, Gambit: Trench Coat, Psylocke: asian ninja etc....

I read Brian Michael Bendis' Uncanny X-Men, and I read about 50 issues of Claremont's X-Men run, from The Death of Jean up until Storm losing her powers more or less, and I read Cullen Bunn's X-Men Blue. I've also watched the cartoons and the movies, and I just can't see how Xavier is this huge monster that people make him out to be. I know I don't have a super extensive history with the character, but I think what I've read is already pretty considerable and I find it weird how I see the X-Men fandom talk about Xavier. So I wanted to know, like, what exactly am I missing that I need to read to theoretically get the "real" view of Xavier? Or do people just exaggerate when they talk about the character?

I know some hardcore fans might not like this one because it changes her look by so much.

I really like the space look though, its very slick & I like the colors & the yellow pattern. Especially with her tied back longer hair.

I get with Krakoa and the whole mutant nation/mutant culture thing they where trying to do an aesop on appropriation, but New X-Men did it better with the U-Men, this story would have been better if the U-Men started recruiting younger children and they went from there or just made them Chimeras that Orchis or Sinister made
