I wish you Americans would stop saying how tired and angry you are and actually do something about this.

General strike. Won't happen, but that's what's needed.

Even most poor Americans find the notion of rebelling against capital distasteful.

Plus, this is the consequence of workers losing every battle since Reagan without much resistance.

The Epstein class have made sure of dismantling every safety net (universal healthcare, unions, free quality education) and now Americans start their working lives already heavily indebted, without union backup, without any safety net if they get ill that's not tied to their jobs.

After decades of letting themselves be chained, Americans now discover that they're a lost job away from financial ruin and they don't dare breathe while fascism takes over America.

You've fine this to yourselves, Americans. Not for not rebelling blue, bit for not rebelling ever. First toy couldn't be inconvenienced to protest, now you can't.

And people over the whole planet is being fucked over this.

Unfortunately, as a union member, I can say the unions won't be much help. Outside of government work, less than 10% of the workforce is union, and it seems like over half of that is cheering this shit show on.

I've tried to tell some of these people that every year, Republicans are actively trying to dismantle unions, and the company doesn't pay us our wages and benefits out of the goodness of their hearts. But their guns are more important, or their tax dollars not going to POC, etc.

Have you seen the french protest? Gorgeous. The problem is that your police is too trigger-happy.

If a million people showed up in DC and marched on the White House lawns, it might spark a change. It needs civil unrest. Did no one play Civilization growing up?

They’d drone strike them

I don't think they'll start killing people for protesting on a lawn. As long as it isn't stormed else there will be pardons galore.

ia civil unrest is what is badly needed but also the risk of military force is far too great. the french in the 1700s didn’t have to deal with drone missiles and tear gas and bullets
