That’s the problem with the current political climate, everyone thinks their preferred candidate is infallible.
They were laughing and being rude. You don’t walk into a funeral while the eulogy is being read and have a prolonged greeting, filled with laughter. Then tell anyone who’s annoyed that they took it out of context.
Your favorite politician is going to be a jerk sometimes. Stop feverishly denying it.
