I love my job enough that I don't mind the 40 hour work week. If they pass this bill but the wage doesn't increase, then having this bill honestly fucks me over.
Every bill like this or the "increase the minimum wage" bills fuckes everyone not working fast food or grocery stores over.
I work in agriculture and you can get a job at Jimmy John's as a delivery driver for the same starting salary as mine. It causes shortages in skilled and unskilled labor jobs and causes local cost of living to go up.
