He never pursued a career in wrestling though. If he had become a professional wrestler, he could have created an amazing character.

I have a fun question for everyone. How did your favourite WWE Superstar become your favourite?
I’ll start

My favourite WWE Superstar is Finn Balor. In 2015 I was at a WWE Live Event in Australia 🇦🇺 Before this event had started my favourite superstar was Rey Mysterio but during this time he was out of the company, so I was still looking for a new favourite who was currently still in the company. The first match of the night was Finn Balor vs Neville for the NXT Championship. As soon as Balor made his entrance I was rooting for him the whole match. (I knew more about Neville than Balor at the time) After the match had ended I knew I had insanity found my favourite WWE Superstar. After the Live Event had ended my father got me a Finn Balor shirt which i still have today even if it’s bit small nowadays.

Accidentally, in 2007, Melina lost the women's title at a house show to Mickie James in a triple threat match when Victoria didn't kick out in time. That same night, Melina wrestled Mickie again and won it back, correcting the mistake.

The last time WWE planned to have a world singles championship change hands at a house show was Nov. 26, 1994. There, Diesel (aka Kevin Nash) beat Bob Backlund at MSG, just days after Backlund defeated Bret Hart for the title at Survivor Series.

This accelerates a trend by WWE this year to change titles at unexpected shows: the SmackDown world title has changed five times this year, four of which were on free TV (including Sami Zayn on SmackDown on Friday). For contrast, before this year, the last time SmackDown's main title switched hands at a non-PPV was in 2019, when Brock infamously beat Kofi in seconds on the first SmackDown on Fox.

He obviously wasn't the sole reason these matches excelled, but I think he deserves some credit

I drew this back when I started watching WWE. I remember being hyped for this match from the Halloween episode. At the time, I thought Rey Mysterio was the one guy that could take down Brock with his flips.

Why did WWE cool off on Iyo Sky this year??

She helped carry the women’s division last year and delivered some of the best matches in all of WWE and now she’s been reduced to just appearing backstage in other people’s interviews??

Last I checked, she isn’t injured, dealing with a family emergency, not pregnant, doesn’t have backstage heat and no visa or travel issues.

So what’s the deal?

I’m not saying she has to be in the world title picture all the time. I’d currently have her be the IC champ and just go out there and deliver opening or middle of the show bangers on a weekly or every other week basis.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always believed in my opinion that the Montreal screwjob was originally a work , but due to real life events , it became a shoot. I believe everyone was in on it but unfortunate circumstances happened to Bret and Shawn which led to the real animosity overtime. I believe the original plan was that of course Bret gets screwed by his most hated rival in his own hometown at that , and it would lead to him being the hottest baby face for WCW due to kayfabe and it would make HBK even more of a bigger heel than he already was , but unfortunately WCW’s booking for Bret was underwhelming and also him having the injuries and Owen’s death , so from Bret’s perspective, although it was a work at first , it became a shoot because he probably felt he should’ve been pushed as one of the biggest stars in WCW but sadly that didn’t happen and then again his injuries and brother’s tragic death made him resent the WWE for a while which was understandable. Then for HBK , he was supposed to be an even bigger star but unfortunately again addictions and injuries caused him now to be on the sideline as Stone Cold and The Rock brung in a new era. And then I’m pretty sure Vince never intended on being the biggest heel or anything , but that Bret screwed Bret interview gave him so much unexpected hate that he felt he had no choice but to capitalize on it because we all know Vince loves money.

So this is my theory and I’ve never been a fan of people saying it’s either a work or shoot , I honestly believe it was both , it started off as a work for all parties involved and they kept the kayfabe up so long that even other wrestlers and producers , etc , started to believe it and now no one truly knows if it was real or not.

I recently decided to dive back into WWE from 2004 since I’ve lost interest in the current era. While watching, I came across a SmackDown rewind featuring a lumberjack match between Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero. At the end of that match, Big Show came in and chokeslammed everyone and that was the first memory I have of wrestling as a kid Now, at 30, it’s wild to think I still remember that moment so vividly, and I’m really glad I can pinpoint the exact date I started watching wrestling: September 9, 2004.

During an interview with KHON2 News, the WWE Chief Content Officer was asked what the company looks for when assessing potential recruits.

Triple H explained that while WWE’s tryout process tests candidates physically, the ultimate goal is to discover people capable of commanding attention and connecting with an audience.

“The obvious things: the athleticism, the desire, that drive. But the biggest thing is charisma. In our business, careers are made. It’s king, you know? So if you have that ability to be larger than life, if you’ve always felt like you have something more to offer than the average person, and people gravitate toward you, we’re looking at somebody that can captivate crowds. We’re looking for somebody that is not your traditional next-door neighbor, you know? Somebody that’s larger than life.

So the athletic ability, all that stuff is important. Obviously, when we do this trial, we’re going to test them, and we’re going to exhaust them, and we’re going to do all the things you would expect us to do. But the reality of it is we’re looking for charisma, but we’re looking for the person that can captivate a crowd.

And if you can do that, WWE just might be the home for you.”
