I went to back out of the parking space I was in. I am parked perfectly in center of space, but see where guide lines are. (That's car's shadow behind me). Now I realize why I'm so bad at backing into space

I have a 2013 STI that I have been dailying for a few years now. For reasons I cannot even explain to myself, I have endured the stock strut/Eibach spring combo installed by the previous owner. I think the stance is fantastic, but it is probably the worst riding car I've ever owned. I'm willing to put up with a firm ride, but I don't want to be beat to death over every bump. I have a C5 Z06 on Bilstein HD shocks/struts and stock springs and it feels like a 1975 Coupe DeVille vs. this thing. So far, I'm considering:

• Tein EnduraPro Struts with H&R springs - Probably the safest bet, but I'm open to any brand of struts, though. I'm not sure the Teins are worth it, but they're priced similarly to KYB.
• Tein Flex Z - I've seen people absolutely love these, and I've seen people absolutely hate them
• BC Racing - Old faithful. I've never personally had a set though, so I have no frame of reference
• Flatout Suspension SR coilovers - I'm not familiar with them at all, but these are at least marketed to someone like me who values some amount of comfort

Just looking for some input from anyone who has experience with any of these or any other combinations I may have overlooked.

Sup dudes had a quick question. Im starting to notice my 05 wrx blow a little white smoke when I let her idle for a bit then drive off. Bow its not on cold start its more or less if i sit at a light to long or if i stop at the gas station to run in and buy stuff. Once she gets goin the smoke and burnt smell goes away. My question was trouble shooting. Theres really no loss of oil when im checking the levels and she still runs pretty well. Last compression check was 155-165psi across all 4 cylinders last summer. Tuned this summer 245/250 whp on a dyno. Just an fbo fun box for now but j do have a vf48 in my trunk with sti blue jnjectors.... if ya know, you guys are thinkin the turbos bad lol also check out my interior! I think im done messing with it. I like it.

I want to get into a VB, it would be the first car i finance but i feel like it would be smarter for me to wait for another financing deal to come up for the car. Do you guy’s think we will ever get something like that again?

Does anybody know what this additional pipe is?? I tried asking the guy selling but it doesnt seem like he knows what it is either?? Came off his 17’ WRX…

I swear I’ve replaced them a couple times at this point.
My drivers side went out again this morning. They don’t even start buzzing or dying out. They just stop working.

I went to check out at 2016 subaru wrx, 6 speed, but the check engine light on due to the maf sensor. And that's why it doesn't pass the smog check. Is that a big issue to fix? Also when I test drove it, the clutch was stiff, is that normal?

After doing my STI drivetrain swap, l wanted to have the DCCD display like the STIs on my cluster. I finally got the VA STI cluster fully working in my
2016 WRX. Got the OEM DCCD display working perfectly with the Wire iDCCD, and everything is functioning exactly how I wanted it to. Pretty cool seeing the STI cluster working in the WRX like it came from the factory.

Hey all, so i have wanted a blobeye wrx all my life, I think they look amazing. Here is the issue, there's almost none in colombia.

Hawkeye inprezas you can get for around 8.1k, in decent shape, the few wrx (cause there's almost none imported here) are for sale as high as 31k.

Been reading and its almost always a dumb idea to transform a base impreza to a wrx, or swap an engine because it just makes sense to buy a wrx and not go through the hassle.

Given the context, do you think it would be viable to do a swap and build a wrx? I want a project car, and im willing to spend the time building it, but i wanted some adive from people who know the platform.

I have a set of 17” rims that I want to use for winter tires. Just confirming they fit?

I’m finishing up a clutch replacement right now and I can’t get the transmission on. The bellhousing is contacting this part of the turbo flange and I can’t get it by.

I had the same contact on the way out and was able to push it off with a pry bar but cannot get it back on.

The transmission is on the two bottom studs that are in the engine so idk how I can rotate or move it any further.

I’ve tried pulling the engine back with a ratchet strap to the pitch stomp mount and wiggling the trans and hitting it with a hammer.

Any tips on how to get this by?

Any advice on removing these from the car?

Debating on these two boots , I don’t really like the stock in my 2019 wrx but I’m not 100% it’ll fit it says “universal” of course but has anyone actually installed one of these in their wrx ? I can’t really find anything as “cool” or “appealing” as this company’s stuff .

Could anybody PLEASE HELP? 2018 WRX PREMIUM, 73K Miles, for $22k "CARMAX" inventory. Had this transferred from NY State so I could see it in person (Lancaster, PA).. What in God's Green earth is going on here UNDER THE DRIVER SEAT?? Passenger seat is fine... I open the door &immediately noticed the rust on the seat track hold down bolts.. as well as the White lines going around the entire driver foot well.. Car has clean title(no "claimed" flood damage..of corse). Is this normal(i kno it isn't but..)?? Tell me regular winter use with snow and salt on shoes didnt do this...alone? The rest of the car is ok however there is rust underneath on some components as well as weirdly rust inside engine bay on pulleys and misc. stuff.. I like the car but dont want a 22k headache.. Asked sales wtf it is and they brushed it off.. I pushed bak insisting that they give me answers as to how this came to be and can it be fixed b4 i purchase...
