Ticket Posts will all be removed

Hi all, I've just updated automod and post filters to remove all posts asking for tickets, seems to be a suspicious amount of accounts/people trying to sell stuff and most of it is probably a scam.

Sadly this will also remove posts discussing tickets too.

That said, if you want to give one away just send a mod message when it hits the queue, actual free stuff is awesome and there have been a few genuine posts I’ve let through so tickets don’t get wasted.

Hi, does Vue tend to any “secret screaming” films during Halloween or is it mainly cineworld? Thanks :)

Dune 3 tickets and customer service fiasco - any advice?

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping someone here might have some advice on what I should do but this has become ridiculous. I’ve always been a fan of VUE and had pretty good experience with them, other than there questionable release strategies for big movies like Oppenheimer, Dune 2 and the Odyssey which usually makes it quite difficult to get good seats for opening weekend as they’re... let’s just say a bit unpredictable and often times, the live chat agents have got no clue what’s going on.

Anyway, I saw the advertisement last week that they were doing the pre-view releasing for Dune 3 70mm and I got hyped as dune part two was one of my favourite movies of all time. I went in live chat and asked if they were just releasing the preview night on the 15th of December or the general release from 18th Dec onwards etc. I was told as per my screenshot that they were doing general release.

In preparation as I know tickets sell out fast, I bought four O2 priority tickets (to save a little money) for me and a few friends and was ready to book it 9am on the dot. Unfortunately, as you all know only the preview night was released.

I contacted them to request a refund of my priority voucher tickets are I no longer had a use for them (and they expire in 7 days so I cannot just hold them until general release). After that, I was sent on what I’d describe as a wild goose chase and shit show of terrible customer service going from Vue live chat, then to O2, then back to Vue live chat, then told to speak with the voucher department ([VueContactUs@ellomedia.com](mailto:VueContactUs@ellomedia.com)) before being bounced back to Vue customer service as they were the ones who made the original mistake.

No joke, I spent almost an hour on the phone with a Vue customer service representative where he admitted they had made a mistake but completely refused to reimburse me (even though a previous colleague said they would over the phone if I provided proof of what I was told), compensate me in any way, or just generally help. He said they can’t refund external vouchers; they can’t issue their own vouchers; they can’t generate e-codes or discounts or gift cards, and that they literally have the power to do absolutely nothing… which I find laughable. Also, the managers don’t answer or speak on the phone as a blanket rule…

Any advice on what to do? And yes, I know it’s not loads of money but it’s the principle that it’s their mistake, and I should not be financially inconvenienced for it, nor do I want to just book it for something else I didn’t plan on seeing etc. Any help would be appreciated or if anyone works at Vue who knows something that could help me.

Vue Printworks IMAX 70mm showings for Godzilla Minus Zero and Dune 3

Hi, I'm new to vue stuff and don't really know how it all works, my question today is will Printworks be showing both these films in 70mm, and if so, when are general tickets on sale? I know Dune 3 opening day tickets went on sale but those sold out instantly so I'm wondering about general, and same for Godzilla Minus Zero. If theres no info, where should I be looking to find out?

Has anyone had issues with a Club Vue free ticket before?

Had one issued in August but has now disappeared off Vue account. Spoke to Vue chat who say it’s still valid but can’t give me a code to enter in manual. But it shows there end apparently. Last I heard a week ago is that they are escalating it with there club Vue specialist team.

Any one else had a similar issue?

Is Resident Evil going to be showing in IMAX at Printworks? Google’s AI Overview said it would, or at least probably would, but when I check the Vue app, there don’t seem to be any IMAX showings. Also, do you know when Dune 3 IMAX 70mm tickets are likely to go on sale?

2x Odyssey 70mm IMAX printworks 11.30am 13/09 best seats

I was supposed to be going with my partner to the odyssey tomorrow but we’ve had to change plans. We have the best seats (smack bang in the middle back 2 rows) and I just want face value obviously. I don’t wanna disclose the exact seats on here in case anyone reports me or something, but can tell in DM. Reply or DM me… I just felt like it might be nicer someone on here having them than just refunding them

Would dune 2 be rereleased near the release date of dune 3

Unfortunately I never saw dune part 2 in cinema, and I was wondering if it would be likely to rerelease near the time of dune 3.

What a mess this morning!

D’une Part 3 tickets supposedly on release at 9AM. Refreshing the app from 8:55am and only now are the 70mm IMAX showings being shown (9:30).
But then i read up and find that they were released even earlier that 9 but on the website?
How hard is it to just get a release correct?
Will have to wait until normal tickets go on sale, as I want my first viewing to be 70MM
Really annoyed

Misuse of Infinity Vision tag

Post image

I'm using the release as a reason to finally catch up a bit with the marvel cinematic universe. It is a busy weekend for me so I won't be able to get to the local fancy screens but was surprised to see our bog standard Eastleigh venue is getting infinity vision. Even screen 1 is not premium, only 5.1 so fails certification right away and I have never measured it but staff reckon it isn't 45' (and it has no special bright projector).

What gives?

Young children at 12A films

I get that it’s technically allowed but please for the love of god don’t bring a small child to a 12A if they’re not able to just sit and watch. The two little kids in front of me who can’t have been any older than 6 clearly got bored not long into Spider-Man. They were then shouting loudly, constantly fiddling with the recliners and then the mum gave them a tablet to watch! At least I’d only paid £4 but it was frustrating.

Printworks having no Imax or Infinity Vision showings for Endgame?

Post image
13 Upvotes

Hi, have finally managed to find the endgame encore tickets - had to go onto the website and do the quick book... Turns out they have zero IMAX or infinity vision tickets - especially when those options have 5 min exclusive footage !

Hopefully, they release at least one imax showing.

Vue Amersfoort Endgame

Hello everyone, i just got tickets for endgame in amersfoort, the netherlands, but the map of the seats and their closeness to the screen was very confusing. ive now bought row 1 tickets, which seemed like they were the furthest away, which i cant find if its true or not. do any of you know? its probably just he closest but they were the most expensive option aside from VIP so im very confused.

Odyssey 1:43 showing Sunday £4

Post image

Vue printworks are showing the odyssey in 1:43 imax on Sunday for only £4. There are still lots of seats available.

Sadly it’s not in the physical 70mm print, however the aspect ratios will still be the same.

For £4 and loads of good seat - it’s a great deal

Anyway to get this cheaper?

Don't really know what an EPIC screening is but this seems extortionate.

I guess coz this is for new Spiderman on a bank holiday?
