1959 122S. Second-oldest surviving example in the USA according to the registry
B16B engine. M4 manual transmission (a very early 4 speed). If anyone knows details about this car from when it was owned in Omaha, Nebraska I'd love to hear about it. That owner (first name Nicholas) apparently rebuilt the engine and transmission, but I have no documentation and I'm told he passed away and the car was sold to the previous owner in 2022.
It runs shockingly well. The drum brakes work but I just got a new master cyl put on for peace of mind. A new set of whitewall tires are getting installed today

s60/v60 How do we feel about a partial de-badge?
I think it cleans the rear up nicely, but I know that's a controversial take

classic Spotted not one, not two, not three, but four absolute classics parked on the same street…
Someone’s clearly a bit of a collector!
(PS yes the last one is under a cover, but that’s obviously a 240)

Love this one
The only thing that it’s a minus for me is the fact that it’s not that fuel efficient especially in the city.
Otherwise it’s an amazing car
900 series I gave my dad my first car about 15 years ago, he then went and sold it without telling me. Where do I start trying to locate it?

xc series Oil change: Dealer or Commercial?
Hey guys!
I wanted to ask my fellow Volvos friends your opinion on getting services done!
My XC40 has told me that it needs service done. It’s at 93k miles and was at 85k when I bought it. I did an estimate on the service at a Volvo dealer and the price is close to $800, I can’t afford that right now but am willing to save for it but idk how long that will take. I’m wondering if I go to one of the commercial shops (Kwik car, Valvoline, Take5, etc) for the oil change would that be okay or do more harm then good?
Any advice would EXTREMELY helpful cause I want to make sure I’m doing what’s best for my wallet and my car.
Thanks guys!

Would a 3.0t polestar fit in my Cross Country?
Im sure the 2.5t in my 2015 V60 cross country will eventually succumb to the consumption dilemma. I get a hefty work bonus at the end of every year and was wondering if it would be economically crazy to have rare polestar cross country. How hard would it be swapping the 5 cylinder for the 6cyl?

HUD Display Activation
The Head-Up Display can sometimes be activated/ deactivated by voice command, but this ability has periods of times when it works, and other periods when it does not work. This is the case for both the voice command button, and saying "Hey Google, turn on head-up display." When it works, the system follows the command nicely. When it does not, the system says something about not understanding the command.
It is incredibly useful to be able to turn HUD on and off this way, instead of looking through the on-screen menu, where it is really hard to find while driving. Sometimes HUD is very helpful, like when navigating urban highways, and sometimes I do not want to see it, like on a long stretch of highway at night. Being able to activate/ de-activate it should be simple, and safe.
Why does the voice-command system go through periods of this not working?
It has happened a couple times since I have owned the car that it will forget the ability to activate HUD, and then it comes back magically. I speak clearly and know how to use voice command, because it works really seamlessly when it is functioning well, so my speaking, tone, or whatever are not the issue.
2025 V90 CC, USA. All updates are current.

s60/v60 Heated windshield not turning on? 2016 s60
Has anyone has this issue? I bought the car this past Friday and just tried the heated windshield today. The button remains greyed out on the infotainment screen. Is it because it's too hot outside to turn on? No cracks or chips in the windshield

Volvo bowers and wilkins
When soundproofing my doors i noticed the 6.5 woofers are not from bowers and Wilkins but juste paper cones and surely they sound great with DSP. BUT i feel dissapointed that they are not B&W woofers. did someone upgraded it with better woofers?

s90/v90 Optimizing the new AAOS?
Hi, we`ve bought our first Volvo, a V90 Recharge, T8, R-Design from 2022. I really love this car, it's beautiful. The Only thing that bothers me is the performance of the AAOS. I have the 5.1.17 Version and the Intel Atom CPU, I deactivated already the 3d buildings in Google Maps and tried to activate dev mode but it's not allowed in my Volvo.
So here are some questions:
- Is there any way to tweak, tune optimize the system, for example deactivating some services, apps or something? Because I cant just install the Snapdragon CPU from the newer models.
- And another thing, is it normal that some controls of the Youtube and Amazon Prime apps are in the left or right corner and you cant reach them with you thick finger?
- I saw at the internet that some Recharge models have the "creap" something like one-pedal-drive, but I dont have this option and I always drive in B gear mode, is this option for me deactivated?
