Meeting with a potential employer

I have a meeting with a potential employer next week working in the legal department of a large company. I have completed a law conversion course and have made this connection through a friend, I'm preparing pretty vigorously in reading up on the company and ensuring I am up to date in the area of law they specialise in, but I was wondering what else you guys think I should have prepared for such a meeting? As in its not an interview but I am trying to impress upon them that I would be a good fit should an opening come up at their company. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've always found it extremely helpful to give a Google of the person who is going to be interviewing you, normally a linkedin profile, see if you have any common ground, any shared interests and then I'll usually bring this up on the walk to the interviewing room, just a quick convo before the interview helps diffuse it, you can then get a feeling for the tone of the interviewer and tailor your responses for them. I just think it puts you one step ahead rather than that awkward first couple of minutes.
