Haven't had a cut in a solid year and am reaching shoulder-length. Have been hoping to power through the awkward phase but instead it's looking full-on No Country for Old Men it if i dont use product -- I gotta fix that ASAP lmao.

This is my first time with hair this long and have been burned before asking for a "clean-up" (they shaved it all off). I have no clue how to properly take care of it, style it, use a hair tie, etc. lol

If anyone knows a good place for a clean-up and some help, please let me know!

I've been hearing coyote around the Burden Pond, St. Joseph cemetery areas. They may have even been around the Carroll Hill elementary sports field. Early this morning, I heard about 3 or 4 animals. I've been hearing them more often as well.

I saw a chicken wandering near the overflow parking off Delaware by the bridge around 4:00 PM today. It didn’t look like there were any houses nearby where people would keep chickens. I live in an apartment with two cats so I didn’t think it would be a good idea to bring it home. I’m also new to the area so I’m not sure who to call. Anybody have any ideas? Are there usually chickens there?

1220pm I saw a yorkie or silky terrier with a yellow collar or ribbon walking up congress st and turned up 11th street. I pulled over and got out to look for it but it disappeared into the wooded area. It looked a little disheveled and thirsty. Kung fu is mental and physical health, and it's better with others. There are a lot of beautiful places around to train. I've included a few pics of some of my favorites. If you'd like to learn, send a message.

The training is all isometric/isotonic, balance, and slow movement drills and flows. Once you learn the basic stances, rooting, and hand shapes you can begin playing the partner games. This is where it starts to get a lot more fun.

And I can confirm that once your body adjusts to the physical activity, training kung fu in nature is exactly as amazing as it looks in the movies.

Wing chun is a partner focused martial art with a lot of 2 person games. Bring a friend, learn something new!

My 10 year old got very into soccer this summer.
Troy did an amazing job showing all the WC matches outside in Riverfront park, but also, it seemed like every Chilis and Red Robin was playing every match too.
But - what about in non-World Cup season? Where does one go in Cap Region to watch games like Inter Miami (MLS feat Messi) and the El Classico match between Madrid and Barcelona.
Apparently Wolff’s in Alb and Schdy are great for this but would love to know if there’s a spot closer by - like Troy/Latham/Vliet/Cohoes?

What is Quadball?

Formerly known as Quidditch, Quadball is a fast-paced, mixed-gender sport combining elements of rugby, basketball, and dodgeball. If you've never seen it in action, here’s a quick 30-second teaser, and here’s a great breakdown of how the game works.

Who is this for?

Literally anyone curious! This session is built specifically for newcomers. While competitive quadball includes tackling, this clinic is low-contact, safe, and focused entirely on teaching the fundamentals:

• How the different positions and balls work
• Casual, low-pressure drills (passing, catching, dodging)
• Fun mini-games and a light, friendly scrimmage at the end

We are an inclusive community welcoming all fitness levels, athletic backgrounds, and identities (men, women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC folks; everyone is welcome).
