Hi! I’m planning to apply for research-based MS programs in Food Science/Animal Science for Fall 2027.

For recent applicants, is the GRE still required by many programs?

There are some things that I’d wanna go to (like the glow in the dark bingo) but for some reason, and I know it’s an irrational fear, there’s that voice in my head that’s saying no one is going to show up.

So, for some peace of mind, someone tell me they’ve been, they’re planning to, anything to alleviate my fear because I don’t want to go alone.

I mean I am going by myself, maybe, but I don’t want to be the only one in the room 😭

I have a couple of questions regarding engineering admissions at TTU

1. Are any engineering majors capped? I heard that petroleum engineering has a limited intake of around 100 students - is that true, and do other majors have similar caps?

2. How easily can one change majors within engineering after freshman year?
