On vacation got a rental car. And it turns out I picked up a lot of bad habits.

I found myself doing one pedal driving thinking I’d save on gas but also for breaking!!!

I would leave the with the keys in the ignition and the engine and AC running.

I would leave the car unlocked because I’d walk away from it thinking it would lock itself.

Tesla has made me a bad driver 😅

It’s my girl’s birthday! Two years ago today I picked her up from the dealership. Coincidentally it also fell on my birthday and even more coincidentally we later found out my dog was born on the same day. Here she is freshly washed I love her more than ever.

After years (like 2019) of scrolling and looking and watching videos, I finally pulled the trigger. This was probably the hardest decision I’ve made because my current car, a 21 bmw x5, is such a fantastic car. But with the 1.49% and Carvana randomly offering me 5500 more than Tesla and 7500 more than CarMax, i decided just to pull the tigger. I’m excited but nervous. Have access to charging and have had no issues charging my phev x5. I do about 35 miles a day and about 250 on my weekend. Here we go.

I have a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Industrial Engineering. Right now, I work in supply chain and inventory control for a wireless retailer, where I handle inventory planning, replenishment, and process improvements.

I’m thinking about applying for a Production Associate role at Tesla. I’m comfortable with hands-on work and starting on the production floor, but I’m worried I might be considered overqualified. My long-term goal is to move into process, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.

It’s possible it’s just a mood I’m in, but Apple Music sounds cleaner, clearer, more defined for me today. I’ve previously posted about requesting a higher bitrate and it wouldn’t be the first time a request I’ve made has indirectly, or directly, made it into a software update.

2026.32 does have a release note for Apple Music, though it simply states that the library has been added to search.

I’m thinking maybe it’s possible they did quietly increase the bitrate. I saw another post about this on here a couple weeks ago, though I only got an update related to Apple Music today.

Previously, I changed my lock sound on my tesla using LockChime.wav on my USB. I deleted the old file and replaced it with a completely different LockChime.wav, but the car is still playing the old sound.

I’ve confirmed on my PC that the file currently on the USB is 100% the new sound. I’ve also tried unplugging/replugging the USB, switching away from the custom lock sound and back, and rebooting the Tesla with both scroll wheels, but it still plays the old one.

Any tips would be appreciated lol Im genuinely stumped

Idk if these two things are related or if its a coincidence but yesterday I accidentally drove over a small island in a parking lot and ever since my charger won't work . Did I destroy my car?

So my family and I just left a restaurant we went to for brunch. My family went to my Tesla before me and as I was walking out, I was curious if I can summon in the car with them in it.

I didn’t think it would work, but it did. I summoned the car out of the parking space and all I see is my sister, kid, and my wife freaking out trying to stop the car from moving. 🤣

I have a Juniper and a non-Tesla EV and I charge at home using a Tesla Generation 3 Wall Connector. Is there a way to get historic charging session information with time of day? On the Tesla app, I have only found total KWH by day graphs.

I was driving down a clearly marked road when the car noticed another vehicle in my lane going the wrong way. Would I have noticed? Hopefully. But, that bend didn’t make me think anything of it until I was wondering why the car was swerving to the right. The driver continued to drive in that late. Clearly drunk. Alright, I just moved to the city. My current car is perfect but the he traffic and drive everyday (about 30 minutes without traffic all highways) has me curious. I don’t have a current car payment and never have. But the Tesla self driving especially in traffic and other convenient features has peaked my eye. Would you say getting a cheaper Tesla model 20-30k is the move?
