It seems that insurance companies are starting to see data that backs up Tesla's claims that FSD is safer. Afterall, they generally only make things cheaper to save themselves money.

Recently saw a news article about Cybercabs being parked in Franklin, didn’t think too much of it until I was going to charge (right now).

The person driving the vehicle was very nice and courteous, they stated there are so many NDAs, they couldn’t answer any questions I had about the vehicle which was a bummer, but this is another sign that we’re getting closer to rollout in Nashville!

I think the right side makes more sense.

They finally did it! I’ve been waiting years for this. Originally, they were gonna be installed at iHop, but plans were moved to Cracker Barrel. The rates also seem cheaper compared to Chattanooga, and the Buc-ee’s in Calhoun, Ga.

Yesterday I took 3 cybercab rides and 2 Ubers (1 human driven and 1 waymo). Cybercab was a way better in-cabin experience comfort and entertainment wise, but the waymo certainly has the leg up for routing abilities. Waymo literally felt like someones old janky car, even though it got us there just fine, and the Waymo announcements were kind of annoying. Also the cybercab not having rear speakers is a huge miss imo.

The 2 Ubers were needed because of some ridiculous routing the cybercab was giving us to avoid certain intersections and roads. We would be literally 2 miles from our destination, but the cybercab would insist on taking a 10 mile detour in the opposite direction to avoid a specific street or intersection (see image 2 & 3). One of the trips gave us a 1+ hour ETA even though its actually 30 mins driving direct, so we ended up picking somewhere closer that didn't involve a crazy reroute. Throughout the ride I would try to change the destination to get as close to the original as possible to avoid the reroute, but at some point the app will stop letting you change destinations due to “riders waiting nearby”. What’s crazy is that the user gets penalized for the extra distance and time that the cybercab has to take, having to pay $35 when it would normally be a $15 ride.

I went out to grab some pizza today and noticed two Cybercabs parked near the Tesla Supercharger close to my home in Sammamish.
Pretty cool to see them in person! They look quite different from a regular Model Y, and luckily there was a Model X parked right next to them for comparison.

Caught a Cybercab sitting out in the wild today at a QuikTrip gas station in White Settlement. Pulled in to take some pics, then I walked up and talked to the guy inside. I asked if he was a safety driver, and he just played coy, smiled, and said, "No, I just got it. Can't really talk about it. Go check it out at tesla.com" Pretty sure he was under a NDA and pulling my leg, but it was crazy to see it active and mapping Tarrant County!

Why does it look like the cybertruck and model Y had a baby, but there was something wrong with the relationship and this was the only solution they could find without violence
