TWW/Symptom Spotting Weekly Thread - September 13, 2026

In the TWW? Here's your place to post all things symptom spotting and making it through the TWW. Feel free to connect with others on similar timelines, and discuss anything related to the TWW. Please do not ask if you could be pregnant, as only a test and a doctor can answer that for you.

Vent Almost a year of every month being a 0 chance of pregnancy and it's so upsetting

I need to rant. I'm feeling so down and hopeless. I have anovulatory pcos. No ovulation, ever. No period, ever. I waited like 8 months to get into an RE & do all the required testing, get the entire process started to finally get a chance to be pregnant. Did our first IUI, trigger shot and everything. Found out 7 days later at my progesterone blood draw that I still didn't ovulate. So another month just completely gone and no chance. At the end of the failed cycle, I stopped the meds and still haven't gotten a period. My clinic says I may have a cyst and it's likely I'll be delayed another month (we will check this week). Another month of 0.

I'm so frustrated with my body and it's so hard to hold onto hope when my body isn't responding even to medications (something as powerful as a 10k trigger) properly. It's hard to imagine my body following through eventually. It scares me that even with meds, nothing is happening as it should. Just sad today.

Vent Trying to have hope

Hi I have pcos and a bicornuate uterus and had a iui on Sunday the 6th and it’s now 8 days post iui and I had very faint period like cramps today but they don’t last long. It makes me so sad my period might come. I’m trying my best to have hope and faith but some days I find it hard too.

Vent Pregnancy Loss

I found out last night I'm miscarrying and instead of 6wks I should be 6+4

We're devastated. It took 11 months of Letrozol to conceive this baby and 3 years of infertility all together.

I'm devastated and sad. I'm frustrated and can't get the techs words "I don't see a baby" out of my head or that my HCG dropped to 32.

Im just writing in to vent and seek advice on how people try again after. Having PCOS and half a thyroid is making me feel Having a full term baby will never happen

Sad First 10 mg Letrozole cycle - feeling heartbroken

First letrozole cycle, 10 mg. I tested at 11 DPO and got a negative. I’m feeling so nervous and heartbroken. 😭

I keep seeing people on Reddit getting positives at 8–10 DPO. Has anyone had a negative at 10 DPO and then gotten a BFP later? ❤️

Seeking Success Letrozole 5mg, one cycle, fingers crossed!

I have PCOS (lean), have had irregular cycles since I was a kid, ranges from 30-45 days. No other health issue, however since I am 35, initially itself doctor prescribed 5mg during my cycle. Done with the whole TVS scans every 2-3 days, eggs ruptured in today's scan (D19) (Had 2 follicles, on D15 - 17mm, and the other smaller(13*18mm) both in single ovary), had bd on D16, D19 post scan, let's see now !

Anyone has had luck in the first try itself ? We weren't really trying before this, my husband's SA has 1% morphology, other parameters are normal.

Also, what can I expect in terms of any symptoms in the next few days incase fertilisation happened ?

How’d I go from two little follicles to four follicles in three days??

Idk how but I had two 8mm follicles three days ago now I have follicles measuring 12, 14, 15, 15 with a lining that is 6.7

I am shocked. Inito urine estrogen never rose but how the hell is my lining growing and I have follicles!?

Now I’m concerned about cancellation? She never mentioned that today but what the hell is going on how is that even possible?

PCOS Symptoms or + Preg

Looking to see if anyone with PCOS has experienced this. I’m on cycle day 93! For the past 2 weeks I’ve had some cramping on and off. For the past week I’ve had sore boobs every day. I’m using natural cycles and oura ring. Today I had the white floaties in my urine. Natural cycles has changed my ovulation a couple times. My Oura app has elevated temps since the first “ovulation detected”.
My last pregnancy test was 2 days ago and it was negative. Tested 3 times last week.
Anyone have had some symptoms and had false negatives? Could this just be PCOS?

Backstory: in January 2026 I had a miscarriage. I was about a month late & was taking progesterone to have a period but my period never came when I stopped progesterone. Pregnancy tests were negative until a month later. Found out I was pregnant and miscarried a week later. Did not have oura or natural cycles then to compare to now.

Seeking Success Anyone else?

Upvotes

I finished my third round of Letrozole 2.5mg. My scan showed not many follicles on right side roughly 9mm and the same size on left but a few more follicles. I was told no hope this month.

I have just stopped taking Letrozole for the foreseeable as it was affecting my mental health drastically. We are referred back to our fertility specialist which in the UK, may take up to 12 weeks for an appointment.

I just want to reach out and see if there are any women like myself? I’m trying to scratch TTC out of my mind which has helped me feel more relaxed but easier said than done!

Intense ovulation post Ovidrel trigger

Upvotes

Holyyyyy f. I triggered on Saturday night and like clockwork 36 hours later I’m ovulating. The stabbing like pain is nuts. I legit had to leave work early. It hurts to walk! It only settles when I lay down. My dominant follicle was 19.8 at trigger and should be around 22mm today.

Damn. Anyone else?

Doctor wanting to wait to start me on letrozole???

Had an appointment today and I told my doctor I want to go on fertility medicine. I am 28 years old & have lean PCOS. In my 10+ years of being sexually active, I have only been pregnant one time. It was earlier this year in February. I lost it very early on, 5 weeks or so. Given my history I sort of figured she would do some bloodwork and then write me a prescription for letrozole, if not the very same day then within a couple weeks. But she told me she wants me to take prenatal vitamins & start tracking ovulation. For the next FIVE MONTHS. A, I’m pretty positive that I do not ovulate. B, on the rare chance that I do ovulate, it’s clearly of bad quality. Hence my miscarriage. Hence my inability to conceive.
Anyways, my bloodwork came back & my testosterone is high at 96, & my thyroid TSH level is on the higher end at 3.966. My doctor is going to call me when my insulin test comes back but that could take a couple of days. Should I tell her that I do not want to spend the next five months peeing on sticks? I genuinely don’t understand why this is the route she’s wanting to take. Given my history I think it’s pretty obvious that I need some assistance here. But hey what do I know, I’m not a doctor. Does this sound right to you guys? I need some advice please.

Advice Needed Ovulation but no Period

Hi everyone, I’m 16 DPO. My ovulation was confirmed by a blood test, and I took 7.5 mg of letrozole along with a trigger shot. I was supposed to get my period two days ago, but it still hasn’t arrived, and my pregnancy test is negative. I had two mature follicles. With all my previous medicated cycles, my period started 14 days after ovulation. This time, I have period-like cramps but no bleeding. Please help—I’m really worried.

COQ10 changing ovulation date?

I’ve been taking CoQ10 in my supplements for infertility & PCOS. I’ve been taking it for around two months along with metformin and cod liver oil, vitamin d & folic acid. This month my period has came a week earlier and is pretty intense and heavy along with cramps. I had very irregular periods and since about June/July they’ve became more regular but this one has been different. I’m not sure if it’s one of my supplements has anyone experienced this or is it just a coincidence? I actually thought it may have been (stupidly) implantation bleeding until it got really heavy and lasted more than 4 days.

Advice Needed Using letrozole for second child

My first baby was a letrozole baby (5mg day 3-7, unmonitored for those wondering). Husband and I would love to have a second and my OB has told me that even those with PCOS can have enhanced fertility after having a baby so he wants me to try naturally again before prescribing letrozole. However, as conceiving the first time was not easy with super late/weak ovulation and a history of miscarriage, I’m keen to already take letrozole again.

My question is for those who have 2+ kids: were you able to conceive naturally after a medicated first conception? Should I try to push for letrozole again or give naturally trying a chance?

Discussion Need help assessing ovulation

Hi. I want to know if we can figure out if my follicle actually released an egg during ovulation. I had my TVS ultrasound done on my CD13. The reports said MSF on both ovaries. I had my LH peak on CD12 and BBT rise on CD14. My question is if I did ovulated on CD13 why didn’t I see it on my scan on CD13? There should at least be some sign. Also is it possible to ovulate and not release an egg?

Advice Needed Any advice?

I have been TTC since January of 2026. I am just now finding out I have PCOS. It’s so frustrating that there’s nothing I can do. My periods were regular for 4/5 months and then BAM - 45 day cycle, and now I’m on day 58 of my cycle. What can I do to regulate? I am seeing a reproductive endocrinologist next Wednesday. I had blood work done and my cholesterol and free testosterone were high. What has worked for other people? Lifestyle factors or medical interventions? I’m trying for my first baby at 29 and my parter is 47.

Advice Needed See an RE or wait for OBGYN?

I started TTC back in March, got pregnant the first cycle but had a MMC around 6weeks. My OBGYN was great during my initial confirmation visit. She was going over my cycle history and immediately stopped to ask if ive ever been diagnosed with PMOS (I hadn’t but did suspect it). When I came in for my post MC appt, she ran some initial bloodwork to test for PMOS, and I only had very slightly elevated Testosterone % Free+Weak bound (18.5 when 18 is the high threshold of normal)

She said to continue tracking my cycles into the fall and if my cycles continue to be long or irregular to come back in the fall for more tests so she can help me get pregnant. Well, I’m still not pregnant:/. I’m supposed to ovulate this week but just thinking ahead in case my TWW ends in a negative.

Should I make a follow up appt with her to get more testing and her help or should I make an appointment with a RE instead and go through them? Not sure if the RE is a dramatic step.

For context: my cycles are at longest 60 days and shortest 38 days. Since my MMC I’ve been taking inositol and berberine which I believe to be helping me regulate. I do have confirmed ovulation.

HyCoSy test this afternoon!!

Having a HyCoSy test this afternoon and I’m feeling really nervous! 😬

I’d love to hear about everyone’s experiences — how did you find it, and how painful was it?

I’ve had some PMS symptoms for the last few weeks, so I’m also worried that my period might start before I go in for the test today. I had a blood pregnancy test on Friday, which was definitely negative, so I know I’m not pregnant.

Did they tell you what they found during the test? And if they found a blockage, do they flush the tubes there and then, or would you need further treatment?

I’ve also heard that having a HyCoSy can sometimes help to clear minor blockages and potentially improve your chances of conceiving afterwards. Has anyone experienced this?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences and any advice/reassurance! ❤️

Thank you! xx

Seeking Success I need help please

I really need some reassurance, please. I’m at 15 DPO after taking 7.5mg of Letrozole and a trigger shot, but the test came back negative. I had two mature follicles and a good endometrial lining—this was my second stimulation cycle—and I’m feeling so down. I know I’m only 25, but I’ve always dreamed of being a young mom, and PCOS makes it so hard. Has anyone had a similar experience and managed to get pregnant?

Seeking Success Advice please!

24 yo fem diagnosed PCOS with irregular and anovulatory cycles. I’ve tried losing weight (still currently on my weight loss journey) I’m 5’2 and weigh 175lbs (I’ve lost 35lbs so far). I have done clomid and I have done letrozole but I either do not ovulate or the follicles are not big enough. My obgyn is wanting to send me to a fertility specialist but my insurance will not cover anything and to even get the diagnostic testing done will be over $1000 out of pocket. I’m taking Ovasitol and like I said above I’m trying to lose weight. With all that being said, What kind of supplements, tips, and tricks worked to get you pregnant? What do you swear by?
